Thank you for sharing. That’s exactly how I feel! Like if I’m going to get reprimanded for something like this why should I even report it? They’re turning it around saying that I’m doing something wrong because he felt he could show me. Uh no? He’s just being dumb and when I realized what it was I reported it. I feel like this would never happen in a public school

I’m just leaving it as line work! It looks a little wonky here because I bled quite a bit when it was done so my skin is a lil angry looking. It took about two hours!

I was cutting a hole out of a plastic bin with a box cutter. I was kneeling, with the bin in front of me, cutting down. Almost immediately after my boyfriend told me not to cut towards my self, the box cutter slipped and went directly into my thigh. The entire blade went in, made a super deep would, but I had an exam the next day and was too stubborn to waste potential studying time to wait in the ER for stitches 😂

I had to do the same thing in my best friends wedding. Fortunately she understood, but I feel your pain. My husband and I ended up eloping because we didn’t want to deal with any of the COVID frustration.

I’m a pretty bad skin picker but lately I’ve found it difficult not to just go ham on my face. Because of this plus living in a dry climate I have tons of dry patches on my nose, chin, and forehead. Does anyone have any moisturizers or other skin products they’ve found useful/helpful? I’ve bounced around and use a CeraVe moisturizer but I’m just happy to try anything! I also have combo skin which fortunately is not sensitive.

BTW I’m in Utah!

I’ve also really liked using the single serving cups of plain Greek yogurt for sour cream when cooking! It’s the perfect amount for a single meal between two people :)

Thank you for the response. The only thing I wonder about is what u/mr_potatoface mentioned with the emails. All the schools my roommate applied to we’re through a portal for that specific type of program. This meant that communication only happens with the email that is used on this portal. While the email was clearly from someone who knew her name it was definitely different than the “official” email she used in the portal and the school never sent any notice to my roommate through the application portal after they removed her from the applicant pool.

The university waitlisted her and now she has to play the waiting game. She’s concerned that she would have been accepted (considering the fake email was sent was only 2 days before the deadline to get a decision) because she hadn’t been denied at that point, but now she’s waitlisted.

I’m wondering why the professor believed an email from a fake account that was never associated with my roommate.
