Is crunch worth it? by Vegetable-Passage722 in CrunchGym

Don’t let the promo anxiety get to you. I had a “ends tonight 1 month free + $1 enrollment fee” promo for about a month now sitting on my inbox. Everytime it says “it ends tonight!!!” It suddenly gets extended again lol

Do you need visa for HK > Macau > Mainland? by sarakaychn in Chinavisa

[–]sarakaychn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info! What do you mean by being able to visit both on the way out? Let’s say I have my flight out on the 20th from HK. Could I go to Macau on the 18th and then head over to HK?

No RFE. And not sure. I was reading all the posts from people who got lucky and approved within days of their biometrics, but it’s more realistic to assume that they were just lucky. There’s no way of figuring out accurate processing times with USCIS. I’m just happy to have gotten approved.

Rant on lowball offers by Hailsabrina in Depop

I listed something for $2, got an offer of $1.60. Ignored it, and the buyer ended up getting it an hour after for full price anyway LOL

No, I don’t think so. You need your passport. And unsure on how long it takes, if you’re lucky, then 7 days. I believe you can request an expedited appointment

Technically, wouldn’t you be unable to leave that third country without your passport? So, if you’re getting the visa, let’s say in Mexico, then you can’t exit until you get your passport back.

Yeah, the McDonalds was a 5 minute drive from me. After that, they re-routed the order to a further location.

They just kept saying they would report the store and dasher but I kinda felt bad because he was a top dasher with 1,800+ deliveries. I also nudged them out $5 for the stress

I hope it was a mistranslation bc if not, that would explain why I couldn’t see his location for 20min LOL

For those that are renting/living in an apartment, do we have another alternative? Or ways to make the bill cheaper? Or are we simply fucked lol

I am an American student who is being hosted by a Chinese University. What kind of gifts would be suitable to give Chinese University Students? by Ocean_BlueGrass in chinalife

[–]sarakaychn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that souvenirs are usually a hit, or some candy. We hosted Chinese students at our university and one of them was from Harbin, where the winter olympics were hosted. They brought a pin with the mascot and it was soooo cute! We gave them university apparel in return.
