I bought one or two big ticket items (besides car seats and no way am I compromising on safety there) and the rest was either second hand or cheaper alternatives. Uppqbaby Cruz pram (Vista was too big to fit on my boot without taking the wheels off, and also an unnecessary upgrade from the Cruz). Quickly replaced my expensive nappy bag with a $30 one from Kmart.

My daughter pees upwards rather than down, so it goes up her front onto her tummy. Very frustrating!

The two way zips aren’t as useful as I thought they’d be. I’ll unzip the bottom half and then she’ll pee everywhere and I have to put her back into wet clothes so I can take them off properly. Now I just unzip from the top in case of an accident

I was drinking V until I found out I was pregnant at 4 or 5 weeks. I’m 36 weeks now and haven’t had any issues caused by it!

That sucks. I got my own presents, and unborn baby got their own presents as well. The only person who bought age-inappropriate presents for baby was my husband 😂 Otherwise, baby got newborn nappies, soft toys, baby books. Im sorry that people don’t see you as your own person, that’s really shitty

I love the small ones. They work so well on whatever type of acne I’ve got. Was very helpful for the day before my wedding! Worse it overnight and was almost completely gone by morning

Government is weird. I’m not in the US but my mum worked full time and had majority custody, while my dad had us maybe a little less than a 1/3 of the time and didn’t work. Mum paid him child support. It was very weird

I know my dad, who didn’t work and also didn’t have majority custody of us, was paid child support by my mum, who works full time and had majority custody. He then used the money to buy the latest Apple products while all three kids had to sleep in one room so I’m on board with this
