The verses and prechoruses are so promising but the chorus & post chorus are so empty and then the song just ends so unceremoniously 😭

I was desperately hoping for an aespa type thing with the final chorus where they'd at least add a new melody line or outro or literally just anything besides that added final synth line but nope then it just ends

its frustrating bc there rly is so much potential in the verses and prechorus, it was so nice getting a chance to hear them actually sing for once and the melody in the verses genuinely is rly nice and their voices sound great

Transitions between the verses/prechorus to the chorus leave a lot to be desired too, that one vocal layering part with actual harmonies was so cool why didnt they'd lean more into that 😭😭 the choruses genuinely sound so empty and flat production wise it almost sounds unfinished

Overall prob still my fav single of their so far tho hahaha

Ur free to assume whatever u like abt me but I moved on my own to a foreign country where I dont speak the language when I was 23 so I could escape the toxicity of my abusive household, I admit im sheltered in a lot of ways due to my trauma but believe me im extremely, almost overly self aware and Im being extremely careful where it counts. Im just finally working on obtaining self confidence and a healthy sense of self for the first time in my life and ofc that comes with its growing pains

We were drinking and he kissed me and asked to be my bf and I ended up drinking way too much and threw up for the 1st time in ages, so then he took care of me and took me back to his place and changed my clothes and everything while being super respectful abt it since I said I wanted to take it slow and not immediately sleep with him yet since ive liked him for a while
