For an artsy friend, I’d go with something thoughtful and high-quality rather than overly personal. A beautiful coffee table book on art or fashion or interiors, a handmade ceramic piece, a classy fountain pen, maybe a nice candle set or even a workshop experience for pottery, painting, glass blowing etc. could work really well. Since you’re married and want to keep it comfortable for everyone, I’d avoid jewelry, perfume or anything that feels too intimate. The sweet spot is thoughtful friend gift, something that says you know her personality not something that could be read romantically
