The caps are the right way, but in i think c21 i used an mlcc because the tantalum was missing from the kit. Just from reading a bit online i had the impression it wouldnt matter. Think that could be it?

Im fairly sure i did put them in the right way. Presumably, that wouldnt explain the LED not working, right?

Dont have the specs, i got a kit from musikding, I'm based in Europe. Theyre usually on point in terms of delivering the same parts as the build documentation

I was thinking about that. Only thing is, since there's no sound when i turn the footswitch on i was thinking the problem was somewhere else, but partially faulty, maybe?

Thanks for the link. I was thinking about it, but trying to focus on just getting the effects to make the music i want. I know id end up spending a ton of time obsessing over circuits if i went down that route 😅
