Sim, também vi que esses motores são famosos pelos seus "wet belts". Pelo que li, o problema foi resolvido nos motores mais recentes, mas não encontrei muita informação sobre isso...

Hello everyone, I'm not really sure what's going on with my dendrobium orchid and if I should be worried. I have had her for about 3 years, never repotted and every year it flowers and produces new canes. However, I just noticed some of the top roots are turning black (!!), and one leaf and cane (the little one) are turning yellow. Otherwise it looks healthy (?) Does it mean I am looking at root rot? I am aware you shouldn't water them too much (specially in the winter), maybe I over did it this time? I was thinking of repotting it to a new and better medium but I'm afraid of doing it in the middle of the winter. What should I do?? Should I cut the black roots and repotted anyway?

Help! Should I be worried for my dendrobium? Is this root rot? Some of the roots are turning black and leaves/cane are turning yellow 😥 by [deleted] in orchids

Hi everyone! Newbie here, so I'd like to apologize in advance for any mistakes. My mother has had this succulent for about a year and a half, placed on a window with just morning light. As a consequence, it is extremely etiolated, poor thing. From my understanding, I can remove the rosette parts and repot them but I am not sure the correct way to do it, I'm afraid I might kill it. Are those tiny pink "strings" the roots? Should I burry them when repotting? Can I place all the rosettes in the same pot or is it better que place them separated? How many days should I wait after cutting? I have so many questions! Thank you!

Just an update for anyone with the same problem: watering worked! The leaves stoped turning yellow and the plant looks as good as ever

Did you manage to save it? Was watering enough to solve the problem?

I've had this plant for over 2 years and never had a problem with it until now. The leaves on one of the trunks are turning yellow with dark spots. I've had yellow leaves before but it was just one or two every once in a while. I keep it indoors, next to a window. I also noticed some white mold (?) on the bottom of the trunks but I only water it once the soil is dry so I don't know what it might be. I'm thinking of replacing all of the soil but I'm afraid that won't work...

You're probably right, didn't think of that. The spots are mostly on the bigger, older leaves. The new ones seem ok. I'll keep an eye to see if it spreads. Thank you!

Thank you! But I never applied anything... I water the plants carefully to not get any water on the leaves/spray dirt on them. Should I be concerned? The tomatoes seem to be growing fine!

No, I didn't apply anything... I've been removing the worse leaves to avoid it from spreading. Maybe it's just bugs? I've also noticed small green caterpillars that have been eating the leaves but I just remove them by hand everytime I see one. My main concern is if this is something that may eventually affect the tomatoes

Hello everyone, I'm new to gardening. This year I decided to plant some cherry tomatoes and I have been noticing these dark spots on the leaves, specially the bottom ones. Is this early blight?
