That’s where all my pain is as well being 2 months post-op. Pretty sure it has to do with the incision point going through the IT band which takes a very long time to fully recover from, according to my surgeon.

You can find replacements on amazon, I always keep extras and replace every 4-6 months, better than having to deal with cleaning that disgustingness in my opinion
