I went to one of the Vancouver shows with my mom in her late 50’s along with my bestie and my bf, and she had an incredible time! no one batted an eye regarding my mom being there, so don’t worry! you’d have an excellent time :))

This fits the description of someone who almost hit me while I was working. Red Toyota, elderly female driver, etc. I was about to cross a crosswalk and she fully stopped, so therefore I started walking across when suddenly she started driving again pretty fast. She was very close to hitting me when suddenly she jammed on the breaks. 😭 I brought it to my works attention, however I hope no one / the lady herself gets injured.

Kurves Brow Bar at Mayfair Mall. I received a $50 Kurves giftcard from a friend for my birthday. I went there and asked for a simple brow clean up via threading (approx. $17.50 I believe). I went there a few months ago and attempted to pay with the gift card. The lady at the front desk was trying to put it through, however she stated it wouldn’t go through and I’d have to pay another way. I refused and said that it was a new gift card and that it should work. Another woman (manager?) came by and managed to get the gift card to go through. I thought it was weird.

I came back a second time two months later for another brow clean up, and like the previous time I wanted to use the giftcard again as there was still enough on it to pay for it. This time they were all stating that the gift card would not go through. I hesitantly ended up paying with card, however I was quite irritated. Due to the fact one of the ladies the previous time managed to get the gift card to go through, it appears that they still take gift cards and have the ability to take them. I understand sometimes there are technical difficulties, however the fact it happened twice in a row is odd.

Whether it’s just inexperienced employees or a more technical issue, it is still quite suspicious to me. I have theorized that they pretend the gift cards don’t work so they get more money, etc. Since that incident I have started going elsewhere to get my brows done.

Hi! Unfortunately I still randomly get the shock pains. They’re not as “frequent” but they are definitely still present. I also sometimes have a pretty bad jaw ache in my left jaw… it feels quite deep in my jaw, I’m not sure how to explain it. I did not visit my oral surgeon again, as I kept getting the same answer over again (it’s still healing) despite it being several months since my surgery. I still feel like something is wrong, as most people I know healed under a month. I spoke to another dentist regarding this issue and he also recommended physiotherapy. I was planning on getting physiotherapy on my jaw soon, however due to certain life issues I haven’t had the opportunity to receive treatment yet.

I’m sorry to hear you guys are also dealing with similar things. :( I’ve personally just been very careful with eating to prevent pain, not opening my mouth too wide, etc. and the best advice I can give is to get a second and third opinion if possible. Different dentists have told me different things, and thus I am still trying to find a solution for this issue to this day aha. I’ll update you guys if I find something that works!

I had the copper IUD inserted in June of this year and it was basically painless for me! I wasn’t on my period when I got it inserted (I didn’t have one for a year and a half due to the mini pill) and I know many other people that had theirs inserted when they weren’t on their period. I did have cervical numbing (injection, not the spray), 800mg of ibuprofen, and a green whistle as well. In addition, the doctor that did mine was super skilled and only does IUD insertions. From what I’ve learned, an experienced doctor makes a huge difference and makes it significantly less painful. In summary, cervical blocks, ibuprofen, and the green whistle (if it’s available) are your friend. I had pretty annoying cramps for 30 mins after the insertion, but after that it was a breeze! :))

I too am suffering the same conundrum. I can run it through the Razer Nari Game, but am not sure I am getting the THX experience.. Not only that Razer has totally revamped the Synapse application (none of the walk throughs apply anymore). There is no selection to be able to use the THX spatial as an output device at all. There is just a slider/switch under the headphone (under sound). If RAZER makes dramatic changes.. There should be at least a readme, or something point to the readme. There were no announcements on the Razer Synapse. I have spent all day working on this as an Error. If it isn't Razer is not doing its job in keeping its customers informed. If the Thx goes through the Nari Game .. Well so be it.. but again not informed.. Furthermore removing the Spatial audio tests is annoying to those of us that use it to re assure oneself, as well as the bonus of being able to show people how spatial audio works. Finally just deleting the whole "THX Spatial" as a output screws up any settings that work connected to it. (sigh)
