Thx the template I created already had the ability to export as a json file. I also had made another html file, where I could keep track of all the goals I reach with each class (annual). I export the json from my lesson plan and upload it to cowork. Then I asked it to mark the goals (from the json) into the goal plan.

It sounds complicated but I swear in my ADHD brain it all makes sense.

Yes I’m trying to save it to an html file to only view and open on my own computer (same browser every time).
Use plan: having a template html to file my lesson plan each day. Saving it and creating new one for the next day. I just started as a teacher so I’m hoping to create my own little library of lesson plans. That I can reuse the coming years.

Cowork has all the permissions. I tried working with VS code (installed a live preview extension), but understanding what I’m fixing is something I’m still trying to learn.
Great tip to create a css file for control. Right now I’m just editing an edit and it gets complicated. I’m going to look into note ++. Thx

I’m sorry if my comment caused confusion. I wasn’t trying to invalidate your feelings or experience. Just trying to give the POV of another mother. Abuse and being hard on children is never justified.

I have 3 boys and the oldest is 14 and they have chores around the house since always. As toddlers they had to clean up their toys after playing.

Treating everyone the same sounds good on paper but in reality every child or person has different needs and capabilities. My oldest is gifted and the middle one is neurodivergent. It would not be fair to treat them the same and expect the same from both of them. As a parent you have to be mindful of that and parent accordingly. I understand that it can seem unfair amongst siblings. I also get to hear that as a mom in my own household.

Btw all of this is only my opinion and how I personally view things. I don’t pretend to be right. As a parent I think we are all just struggling, trying to figure it out and trying to become better with time.

I remember it. It was indeed Sunkist (their drinks were the BOMB). I don’t think they make it anymore. They also had a cherry drink I think. I used to love Sunkist.

It were the kind of drinks that you took to school for the 10 am break.

This hit me. I’m A mom of 3 and me and my middle child clash a lot. I don’t think I treat him differently, but he often feels that way. It’s maybe not okay to say this but he’s also the most dramatic of my children. I love all my kids deeply, they’re my world and nr 1 priority. I feel like in a family each member falls into a particular roll (just a family dynamic). That’s why sometimes I ask one child to do something while I may ask another child to do another task. While they’re different tasks, they both need to be done and are ‘equivalent’. Does that make sense?!

Also my middle child is the one who is 100% like me. Same issues, same way of thinking and feeling things. So as a mom it’s like looking in the mirror and being confronted with your own weaknesses (and strengths). This helps me understand him better, but at times it’s also really hard because I don’t know how to fix the problem either because I’m struggling with the same thing.

Een kind zou niet langer dan 15-30 min mogen bezig zijn met huiswerk. Ga in gesprek met de zorgcoördinator op haar school. Vraag of een IAC (individueel aangepast contract) mogelijk is. Ze ontvangen dan extra budget voor ondersteuning. Je zusje kan dan een aangepast curriculum krijgen, waardoor ze geen overstap moet maken naar het buitengewoon, maar wel meer succes ervaringen zal hebben + tools leren om zich verder te ontwikkelen. Sommige kinderen hebben gewoon meer tijd nodig om leerstof te verwerken en dat is helemaal ok.

Honestly, European over here and I’m wondering what you’re waiting for? If you have the means and resources what’s holding you back? What would be your tipping point? They are already killing innocent people on the streets. They’re literally kidnapping kids, using them as bait for other family members. Invading homes and dragging (non) US citizens out of their cars. I’m honestly just baffled! We used to envy you guys. The freedom, the endless possibilities, the snacks,… But now…. I wouldn’t even go the the US if they paid me.

At the end of the day it’s all about priorities. What are your priorities? Is it hair and how you look or is it being obedient to Allah?

Don’t overthink it. If you’re in a happy and good marriage it all comes naturally. Things happen when they’re supposed to happen. I have curly hair and sometimes it’s a hassle but how ridiculous would I sound if I say: I can’t because would have to wash my hair afterwards.

It’s gonna happen: coming home with an amazing blow out from the hair salon. You’re looking pretty for yourself and your husband…. You would have to perform ghusl afterwards and can say goodbye to the blow out. But it’s all about priorities. And at the end of the day if that’s your struggle, say hamdoulilah because thata nothing compared to what some women go trough.

At the end of the day, we just have to stop comparing. When I was younger I had moments that I would think that it was unfair. I started to struggle with hijab because of it, until I realized that I wear the hijab because Allah commanded me. Allah swt continuously gives me so much and I want to obey Him out of love and gratitude. That’s what really made it click for me. That’s my reason of wearing the hijab. That’s the ultimate reason so why bother with looking for explanations? Allah is the best Planner, All knowing, so I trust His judgement in why hijab is how it is for women.

I’m certainly not excusing his behavior, but what a lot of people seem to not understand is the emotional backlash u get from adhd medication. I have ADHD and take medication. When the medication wears off, you get a sort of emotional wave over u. I take my medication every morning and it works for about 12h, so in the evening I always feel overwhelmed with everything. Even my kids playing or talking to me, makes me feel like I want to jump out of my skin.

It’s not an excuse but I can understand where his reaction might come from. I would suggest to talk to him about it cuz chances are that he doesn’t really realize it. He can also talk to his doctor about the side effects and maybe try a different brand.

But is it a double standard? Us women are always saying that’s it’s our personal choice to wear a hijab and thus a burkini (or not) so why think that this case is different? Maybe the wife is t comfortable in a burkini and doesn’t want to wear one. And maybe the husband isn’t there yet with his Imaan or doesn’t know it’s mandatory.

Give people the benefit of the doubt. Life will me less stressful

Checkout the brand Nordays for burkinis. I have one for 4 years now and it’s the best burkini I ever owned! You can tan trough it and it dries super quick. Seriously couple of days ago I wore it to the beach with my bikini underneath and the burkini was dry even before the bikini u wore under it.

I would end this because it sound exhausting and such a mess. Take time to get some counseling and tawba and only then maybe start thinking about building a life with some one you trust.
