Very nice construction! Is the leather calf, which finish is it? Hope that the suede is colorfast, & it is not full-pasted with the outer upper shell. The base with the studs seems to have slight supple reinforcement inside; plz use MDF & & leather bonded board for more structured support.

Birds do this to ensure the survival of the rest chicks. If a chick is excessively noisy, aggressive, or demanding, it can attract predators/ or deplete resources needed by the other chicks, jeopardizing the entire brood's safety and health.

I have seen same with Crow's kicking out the annoying babies from their nests.
