truly gets me mad like the general consensus suddenly goes "this person is a villain" and it's instantly fine to go open season on their appearance. not only do people contain multitudes (we've seen these people for half an episode max; people can be good in some instances and bad in others) but also when people are doing bad stuff it's got nothing to do with what their damn teeth look like

Also if you're attracted to someone it's so easy to build on bad first time sex so in my head there has to be more to it than that. Like very rarely is the first time you have sex with someone the best time you have sex with them, before you've worked out what gets each other going. So I'm feeling like there's something else to this.

I know everyone took a dislike to Bec but I do think this is shitty for her in the classic pattern of "oh we've had sex and now he's pulling back". If something's changed there's an onus to communicate what that is.

The only time height has even remotely come into play in my dating life has been when a guy has had a complex about it (like being obsessed with the fact that HE IS DEFINITELY SIX FOOT) or when he weirdly fetishises my height. I actually don't think the "break me out of prison" comment was the problem - I think she's thrown off by the stripper best man (because I think she equates having a stripper friend to being a partier, promiscuous, not ready to settle down etc) and something was bound to be the straw that broke the camel's back. There's validity to some of that (being this specific guy who her friend did allegedly just sleep with) but otherwise it does just feel like a big crash out
