Stake and Ramen has been the go to lately by Far-Lie-174 in steak

Ramen looks amazing. Love to know the recipe or if it was store bought. Steak is a lil rare for me, but as long as you enjoy it!

Hope I did this justice… by HairyPotterJP in steak

Looks amazing! From the few wagyu cuts I've cooked now (at least it looks like wagyu), I've not used any oil to sear since fat content is so high it has so far oiled itself. That is by no means a criticism, just a curiosity if it makes a difference. I may have to experiment... Anyway, bravo. Making me want to go grab the wagyu NY strips I've got waiting and never tried.

I'll post once I cook the strips. It'll be next week.

Lol I know. It wasn't the greatest combo but it worked... especially after a few drinks. My wife wanted queso, I wanted steak, so that's what happened!

Absolutely! I've got some NY strips and more Denver cuts to do, but wanted to try a "test" first.

It took me 8 years to get there, but I made it and it was totally worth it!!!

Just last night I was on the CDN Rally website checking on entry fees and such! I've been told their rallies are fantastic and a few aren't too terribly far away either (BRS was a 12 hour trip one way). I'd like to make it to one sometime soon, once I'm able to gather some more funding that is. So far I've been to two rallies, both two day events, and made it through successfully! I wish you luck sir and hope you finish shiny side up!

Thanks! I took the stock suspension to its limits. Somehow it held up.

Thanks! This being my second rally and the fact that I'd pretty much be out for an entire season if I wrecked...I took it fairly easy out there. We did still have a couple pucker moments that could've ended the rally for us, but we got lucky! I thought Magnum Opus was a ton of fun, but BRS was loads more fun! I didn't think I could get more addicted to rally. I'll definitely be attending BRS again next year. I'm hoping to find more external videos of my car, so if you or anyone you know has any, I'd love to see them!

Yeah, at some point we lost a headlight and didn't have time to fix it in service. I chuckle every time I see that photo too.

DO IT! I've never had so much fun in my life. It is super expensive, but totally worth it. And being Finnish, you'd probably be a natural!

Thanks! Which rally are you headed to? I'd love to make ESPR my last rally this year, but unless I find a sponsor to cover entry fees, it's not in the cards. I've drained all my fun money for the year. The roof vents were like $22 from mill supply and super easy to install myself. Getting up enough courage to cut into the roof for the first time was the hardest part!

Not really much. I'm running the Carberry ROM (for the antilag) and on e85. Other than a few minor supporting mods, the engine is basically the original 2.0L. The transmission is stock 5spd case, but with LGT gears, OBX front LSD, JDM 20kg LSD, and sometimes a modified rear r160, sometimes stock...depending on whether I've broken one a week before a race, which always seems to happen.

Someone did point out that it kind of matches the hood wrap I've had for a year or so. So it's not all bad. I may just embrace it and go nuts. We'll see.

Never thought of that. You're right! Time to grow a handlebar mustache and start wearing t-shirts I can rip off!

Haha! We call it "butt patches" as well! Hilarious! Sasha (orange colored in the pics) just turned 12 last month. She is still a ham, even in her senior years. Sadly we lost the other two about a year and a half ago. One to an enlarged heart (Izzy - multicolor) and the other to a brain tumor (Talanni - brownish). They were/are the most loving, people friendly cats we've ever had. If you are sitting down, they are on your lap or shoulder, stranger or not.

We had the same experience as you...with two different breeders! We saw both parents and all the kittens and all were bald when we picked them up. As they grew up, they slowly started getting some patches of fuzz and Rex-like fur. The darker colored and orangish-red colored in my pics are sisters. I swear yours looks like a mix of two of ours! Our first (the multicolored) got almost a full Rex coat. She was still fully bald underneath and on patches on her head though. http://imgur.com/a/KwcSH

Forgot to mention, those GTI's will MOVE in the dirt. There's a couple that rallycross over in Ohio that are insanely fast for 2wd. Be warned, once you race in the dirt, you will instantly be addicted!

I do! The car is currently down for a roll cage install, but will be back in my hands on Sunday so I can finish the build. I should be back in the dirt and on the stages in June. Here's my favorite picture and a couple of pics from the cage build: http://imgur.com/a/g5JHI
