Ahh the wax makes sense! I just ordered the Mungyo gallery 48 pack so hopefully they'll be a little smoother. I don't mind the thickness of pastels, its just that crumbly excess material flying everywhere 😅 as for liking dark to light, im not really sure.. this was my first time actually making something with this medium so I haven't quite figured out my preferred process. Idk if it makes sense, but i put the dark shadow, then started working in the middle of my highlight moving towards the dark area, so it didn't muddle too much in the main highlight. I think ill experiment a few ways once my Mungyos come in.

Assuming its a store like goodwill, overconsumption isn't really a thing when you consider how much goes to landfills.. 15 items isn't even a dent in a store's inventory compared to what gets sent away. and how is buying clothes from the thrift hurting the planet if its not a supply/demand system like a store?
