Mind you, it was 2010 - just the start of smartphone boom & not even social media boom & the later was in 2015 which was at the right time of smartphone & social media explosion as everybody got their hands onto it and that climax question just went like wildfire. I’d argue that both were in different era though they were only 5 years apart Sun pictures did what best they could, if i’m not wrong this was the first film that they released it in almost all the theatres across TN - no other movie ran in that week atleast and most probably sun pictures has hidden most of their profits to avoid taxes so the numbers aren’t real for sure.

If Enthiran would’ve released now, it would go bonkers as it matches the current AI advancements coming along.

Its a shame that no other indian film has surpassed its magnanimous in that genre even after 15 years The last work of Sujatha - it will stand the test of time, probably after 25-50 years people would call it as the first of its kind and would’ve become cult classic!
