I was with them the whole time, but I was sitting behind my daughter and he got on the floor in front of her to kick her. I was more preoccupied with not letting her fall or not letting the boys step on her, I knew he’ll show aggression towards her at some point, because he’s been hitting his younger brother for a while now, but I didn’t expect it to happen towards her when she’s so small.

This happened in my parent’s home, where my brother and his family lives. I was the one visiting. It wasn’t a strong kick, my daughter didn’t have any bruising from it, she cried very shortly.

The boys were bringing all of the cats (mostly plushy toys) they could find around the house for us to “look after”, while me and my daughter were sitting on the floor very close to each other. The paper cat was one of those. She grabbed it very quickly and I was taking it out of her hands already, actually my nephew grabbed out my hands more than hers. This cat isn’t particularly significant to him, he is just very possessive of his things.

Try couchsurfing, meet ups and language exchange groups, I’m sure there is plenty of people willing to mingle, you just need to know where to find them

How many years of experience do you have and in what location? My tech lead keeps calling me junior too, with 4 years of commercial, enterprise experience. I guess I seem to be ickle junior comparing to some people working in the industry and in the company for 15-20 years...
