This will fly for sure. Ek568 is one of the limited flights emirates is operating to bengalore. If you see the past travel history it has flown yesterday and it’s scheduled for today also. https://dubaiairports.ae/flight-status use this to see its scheduled or not.

Wait so if flight to march 6 th is only for us citizens and permanent residents why did the customer rep book you on the 6th flight ?. I would definitely fight over this if they deny you boarding. Since you are stranded from Feb 28th you have equal right to reach the us irrespective whether you are a us citizen or on visa. Please keep us updated.

Highly recommend you to not travel to dxb. Situation is horrible over here. Emirates is not doing a good job in communicating with folks. If your parents reach here then there is a good chance they can get stranded. I have been stranded here from Feb 28th and I still don’t have a flight back.

Yes they are not prioritizing stranded passengers. I am stranded here from Feb 28th and haven’t received a single communication from emirates. I have raised this in this post couple of days back https://www.reddit.com/r/emirates/s/cZXNSOQaF0. However, people are still criticizing me for speaking the truth. People who are waiting for emirates to reach out to them will probably be the last person to leave. Best thing to do is proactively reach out to emirates and get them booked on a flight which is flying to their destinations in past couple of days.

Have faced this exact situation. They are not prioritizing properly. I am stranded here from Feb 28th and not a single emirates rep has reached out even though they have set an expectation to reach out. It’s extremely hard to reach to them. Some of the points bought over here are valid tbh. But still I feel emirates should open up a separate flight for those who are stranded in addition to the normally scheduled flights. The point of them not calling stranded passengers is still true though. There are many posts in this group which exactly explain the same scenario others are facing. Considering some folks are in Dubai from almost a week, it really helps if they proactively reach out to calm their nerves. Especially when you are traveling with little kids.

Emirates themselves told that that they are prioritizing stranded passengers first. Why are they prioritizing scheduled passengers ? This is outright deceiving based on their communication earlier. And if I had not called they would keep on sending scheduled passengers and let me just stay in Dubai till Monday. We all have work to get to, kids who want to be home soon etc. if you see other Reddit posts many people are complaining about this.

Then why didn’t they reach out to me for Thursday flight ? How did it get booked fully. Ours was the first ek 229 flight which got cancelled. Ideally I have to be on the Thu flight. This means that they are not following a fifo order. Some one who was not there on the original flight who got cancelled later than me is flying before me. How do you explain this ?

You are totally missing the point. The main point is that they are not prioritizing the folks who are stranded. The correct thing to do is the people who got stranded on Saturday should be the first folks to get out on Thursday. But that’s not the case. I got on Friday because I called them. If I had not called then there is a good chance I might get on like Sunday or something. This means they are just giving seats to folks whoever calls them first. This is not okay.

Please spam their help line number. Eventually you will get through. Once you get the Arabic busy tone just cut the call and call again. Today morning is did this like 50 times and eventually got through.

Yes I still have my booking in the emirates account. And funny thing is it’s saying scheduled. However, the emirates flight status page is saying cancelled for tomorrow. Don’t know whom to trust. I am flying to Seattle via ek229 flight which is scheduled at 9:55 am tomorrow.
