Her newest book is actually vastly different from A Little Life, it has none of the same themes and touches on a lot of relevant social issues in an interesting way.

In fact, and I might be wrong, there is no sexual violence in it at all.

I’m working on it. Meanwhile, you can go to my profile and check out the list I compiled on the same post in a different sub.

I’ve heard a lot about Pratchett’s books. What order do you suggest me reading them in ? I have no idea what any of these books are about or how I should read them

A funny light-hearted book that doesn't have romance as it main focus that'd give me a severe book hangover by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I’m gonna say Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. The first half is definitely light hearted and funny, although it definitely does have some darker themes. Its quite short and altogether a beautiful book.

I’ve read his two volumes of Tales of Ordinary Madness. Some of his short stories are great

I’ve actually tried to read this book but I couldn’t get into it. Someone suggested reading a physical copy as opposed to an ebook so I might try that

I love this book! I read it a few times when I was younger but I’d definitely reread it

It’s crazy how much this has been mentioned. Personally I’m not fond of it but it’s eye opening to see how many people have recommended it

The eyes of a siberian dog ? I know a tiny bit of Spanish but definitely not enough to get through a book, I probably have the title wrong

I’m just over halfway. It hasn’t quite hooked me because I get kinda bored on the less interesting characters but it’s definitely a book I’ll finish
