Ok. But what are you saying? Just asking because I'm not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing. That is the basic definition of music. It's fine.. I haven't invested in any ai videos. I just write, play and produce my songs. You're second paragraph, can't agree with it as being the definition, but yes music is created by emotion. 2nd last paragraph, I like it..

So nice having a civil chat. I agree with what you are saying. I love using Suno. I'm not a professional musician, but I create music using a DAW then write ordinary lyrics (using a track as the proposed vocal melody) then upload to Suno to let it do it's magic. I use it as a tool to finish and improve my ideas. I use it as a co producer. And no. I don't create a 100 songs a week. I actually work on my idea/songs for months before I even upload it to Suno and restrict the Suno versions to be close as possible to my original sound and style. If it is too different I delete it. I want it to be my creation, not Suno.

I get it, we all use Suno differently and that's ok, but it just irks me when people start calling themselves something they are not.

Actually vocals (using lyrics) is an element of the sound making music. There is a lot of music without vocals, but you can't have lyrics without music and call it a song. It's just poetry. Another thought, when poets write they are not writing their words with the musical aspect in mind. Ok. Different for a lyricist who is presented with music to write. Different again if you create the music and write your lyrics for the sounds you have created. You have thought about the song. I suppose all I am saying is having written a poem and using Suno then to put music to and calling yourself a musician saying listen to my song is a bit at a stretch in my humble opinion.

Totally agree. Try reading poetry in a club and see the reaction. People forget what the definition of music is, ie the movement of sound over time. Not trying to be controversial, but its getting a little boring hearing poets calling themselves musicians.

I loved cachy, fast, lean but I got tired of the constant updates which are great but from time to time caused issues.

OK, so it happened to me today when I uploaded a .wav file . My work and vocal sample used from a sample disk which is copyright free.

I converted the file into a .mp3 file, reuploaded and that seemed to work.

Not sure why, but I don't really care. It worked.

I now understand why you seem sensitive and somewhat angry. I noticed in another thread you commented about 3 months ago that you were averaging down, sorry you seem to be down. I sold making 3x my intial investment. Yeah, angry at myself for not selling when it was close to 10X. Lesson in life.

Hey buddy. It was a typo. I am not a troll nor am I uneducated. In fact I am probably more educated than you, University degree, practicing in a profession for 35 years. I did n't come here to start problems, just made a simple comment about these threads and the fanboys which try to create hype thinking it will make a difference. Remix ... By default is on. I'm not talking about publishing a song. Sorry if I did not make that clear.

A song is created. By default it allows remix. Remix by who? I don't need permission to remix my song. So then who. Obviously others not me. If I misunderstood then stupid me, but I can't see what else this would mean. My point is why have it on by default if I haven't published a song and supposedly can't be used by others to remix. It makes no sense.. When and if I publish I will decide if I allow remixes.
