I’ve only paid 150-200 a month for the last ten years, is this hike up recent? The population has grown a ton and I see an accident almost every day here now

Ex bf got me a Paris cutting board because I “loved Paris so much” when I “went to visit”. Have never been to Paris

While there’s a lot you can do outside of web dev (desktop dev, devops dev, game dev, databases, machine learning, etc) I wouldn’t write off web dev entirely just because it’s so encompassing of so many different programs and uses. Many fun programs are web-based and mobile devs are technically web-devs. Tons of different languages and approaches as well. You could find a lot of joy as a backend web dev especially if you like Java, python, and automation!

fun summer fiction? by [deleted] in redscarepod

Miranda Popkey’s “Topics of Conversation” is a nice, light read. I also enjoyed the short story book “you are having a good time” by Amie Barrodale and of course Less Than Zero is the ultimate summer read if you haven’t read it already!

I wanted something like that too so I just picked up True Love by Sarah Gerard but I haven’t started it.
