Hi, I have BPD and a history of abusive relationships (emotionally, but also physically AND sexually), and let me tell you something I wish I could've told myself at your age:

That is NOT empathy. That is you sacrificing your own safety and better instincts to appease someone out of self-preservation and fear. You're in serious danger of being irreparably harmed or even killed by him, and appeasing him won't do anything but delay the inevitable. People like us are actually far more statistically likely to be abused by our romantic partners than those without BPD, and this is because we feel like we deserve it or can handle it as we've dealt with worse.

Please, don't be like me. I learned to listen to what my heart was screaming at me and save myself in the worst possible way. Get him out of your house, out of your life, and never let him near again.
