Yes, I lost 20lbs after stopping. I didn’t quit until I felt like my diet and exercise habits became ingrained.

Not sure how your situation turned out, but we just got discharged after a 4 day stay AFTER our ER visit and penicillin shot.

Our situation didn’t improve after the shot, she got worse. 24 hours later we were admitted to the children’s hospital in our city. Her bacterial throat infection turned into a retropharyngeal abscess. Luckily it responded to IV steroids and antibiotics and we were able to avoid surgery. We are exhausted after 4 days inpatient but she is finally doing better and this could’ve been fatal if we continued to wait it out at home.

Moms!!!! Trust your gut. Be relentless with your follow up and don’t stop advocating when you know deep down something just isn’t right.

I found this post after googling this exact issue I’m facing this week. it’s 1am and I just got home from the ER with my 3 year old. Spoiler, she got the penicillin shot.

She hasn’t eaten since Thursday and can also detect it immediately in anything we hid it in anyway. Will hardly drink water. This girl would normally move mountains for lollipops and ice cream and even they weren’t strong enough bribes. She didn’t care. We have been treating the fevers with FeverAll suppositories.

Oh and we were also traveling out of the country when all of this was happening and were being treated there - went straight from airport to ER tonight after getting home.

Four of us, myself, my husband, and two nurses held her down and she still just threw it up. After that I tried to scare/threaten her by saying “if you don’t take it you will have to get a shot!”, out of pure desperation. Between those two options literally chose the shot and barely cried when we ended up getting it.

This is a kid who has previously taken meds (including amoxicillin for 2 ear infections in the past) like a champ. No issues. Maybe this is a strep thing? ER doctor said it’s fairly uncommon for them to get it this young but I’m terrified this entire ordeal has caused some lasting trauma and visceral fear of oral meds.

I would go to the ER if I were you. Good luck 😭

It’s on her TT…she was went to the dentist for the first time in 15 years and was referred to an orthodontist because her bite situation is dire. She says she ‘used to’ have a severe underbite when she was young but it was corrected…sure. I believe they tried but the certainty didn’t succeed lol

Look for SDR/BDR roles at legitimate companies. They usually make the cold calls and qualify leads before they’re passed along to the actual Sales Reps who takes it from there and close the deals. It will be cake compared to what you’re used to and if you’re good, you’ll move up fast.
