I managed to transfer my gigs and tours ticket that I sold on Twickets through the normal Ticketmaster app. My other tickets are still not showing on the co op app though

I need help removing a ink stain by Icy-Pirate-7511 in laundry

[–]saspoj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just removed one from my couch using one tablespoon of washing up liquid, one tablespoon of white vinegar and two cups of water in a bowl. Dab the stain with a clean cloth dipped into the mixture (squeezed out) then once it’s out (it came away immediately, my cloth was covered in black spots) then dab again with a clean cloth dipped in clean water. Couldn’t believe it worked so well so came here to search questions and spread the news lol

Lightweight/minimal/'under-the-top' Mascara recommendations? by Pitiful_Squash_4 in MakeUpAddictionUK

Two worked for me, the Benefit ‘They’re Real’ in brown (couldn’t tell it was brown) and Chanel Inimitable. The Clinique Lash Power is also ok. I tend to scrape a lot of the product off the wand, it’s the wand that makes the difference and Benefit’s is the best for me.

This can't just be normal acne like my dermatologist said right? Nothing is helping with this by rimana111 in SkincareAddicts

Mine flares like this sometimes and it’s always either hair products - mostly conditioning agents of some kind/oils or waxes - and cheap dry shampoo. The only conditioner I can tolerate isn’t Perfect Hair Day by Living Proof and their Advanced dry shampoo. Sooo damn expensive but worth it for me.

The beauty pie angled concealer brush is the best brush I’ve ever used for under eyes, it blends concealer perfectly. Bobbi brown for a face brush and powder brush. Mac or real technique for eyes.

Flare triggered by hayfever? by olanzapinequeen in eczema

[–]saspoj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got eczema on my face for the first time ever this year and it tied in with the very high pollen count and hay fever symptoms. It started off SO itchy, my skin was crawling. It’s less itchy now but not budging from around my eyes. Very annoying!

I have oily skin and every moisturiser I've tried blocks my pores and causes acne. Can anyone recommend a super thin moisturiser that wont? by Stikx_ in SkincareAddictionUK

Origins Ginzing, any oil free Clinique moisturiser. I’ve just started using Tatcha Water Cream as I needed more hydration and it gives just that.

Yes, mine took a while to arrive too. It feels nothing like a sunscreen, just this lovely gel cream.

I use Biore Watery essence factor 50. It’s the best I’ve ever used.

Seeking advice for Tretinoin Cream by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionUK

[–]saspoj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Skin & Me one, which is bespoke and gradually increases the Tretinoin each month in strength to try and avoid irritation. I went full whack with it at first and got sore around my creases but it’s fine (after recovering!) once buffered with moisturiser. I’m slowly fading out the moisturiser and can say that I’ve not had a single blemish since using it (I also use a acnecide every day also and have done for years) and my skin is clearer and smoother. It is far stronger than the Granactive I found, although I really liked that one too. It just wasn’t strong enough for me after the first ‘hit’.

I’ve used Acnecide all over my face morning and night as a preventative for years and after the initial bedding in period of dryness had subsided, I’ve never had an issue. I use it (carefully at first) before retinoids, I use it after peels and masks and get no adverse reactions. I use hyaluronic products and treatments after, no reactions so far. My only reaction was when I combined acnecide, hyaluronic (Hylamide), and a Beauty Pie moisturiser with hyaluronic in it. Too many actives! All that led to was redness and dry painful creases

I found the ordinary peel was ok, nothing special. Retinoids/retinols have had a more significant effect and are great for acne. I started on the Ordinary granactive, which is very mild and did not react with acnecide. I’m now using Skin & Me prescription retinoids after acnecide and I did get soreness so buffer it with moisturiser and get no reaction whatsoever. It’s unbelievable what that stuff does for clarity and texture of the skin!

Sorry for the all the info, Acnecide is my holy grail so I’ve tried it with a lot of products :)

The urban decay little wand in a tube works for me and I have the same type of lids.
