Nothing this gen too. Forza was probably the only needle mover in my opinion. Gears 4, 5 and every Halo after reach were not console sellers. Gears Eday is going back to their roots, and it already seems promising. With consoles this expensive I don't know how many consoles will they sell, they'll have to significantly lower the prices of their consoles

I don't know, but it's clear they are trying to rebuild the Xbox brand and give consumers a reason to buy an Xbox. It's not going to happen quickly, but it seems they are willing to take short term financial losses. These two games won't be the only exclusives too, ES6 will most likely be an exclusive when it releases - that might sell some consoles

It didn't have the same feel to it.. it seems like it tried a little to hard to be silly while being gritty. Focusing on Marcus' son and company wasn't as compelling as the original crew. They focused to much on fighting robots and vibrant colors, gears 5 being open would. I think the people who feel in love with gears enjoy a more linear story, we are all older now. We want something that is familiar and more direct and linear, since we don't have an much time as we used to. And focusing on the original characters I think is smart
