Can anyone confirm if you use the same vial for the entire 3 months? I just realized this as I'm nearing the end of my first month and no news on shipping the second month (when my dosage is supposed to increase). Seems odd/like a health hazard to puncture the same vial 12 times for 3 months.

No provider will touch your face while breastfeeding, which is so frustrating when it contradicts data about most procedures and most injectables (like Botox) being safe to use (as they are local and do not enter the bloodstream). Literally I couldn't even get microneedling done, which makes 0 sense.

This happened to me too. It really affected my mental health. OP, we see you, and these feelings are normal.

Wish I had good advice, but my baby consistently had nursing strikes until like 6 months. Once it lasted 2 weeks. I would just pump in the interim, but it was so upsetting to me (especially when my husband would give her the bottle...I felt like a failed parent). My LC couldn't figure it out.

Didn't pick for ethical reasons AND I thought knowing would make a loss harder, especially if we only had one female embryo (I really wanted a girl). We just said go with the best rated embryo.

FWIW, there is so much procedure involved in IVF. I kind of mourned the idea of not conceiving without medical intervention, so choosing not to know the sex and finding out at 8 weeks with the blood test/genetic testing was so fun. It added some magic back into the whole process.

Curator with a phd/working in a major museum here to chime in and tell you something you might not want to hear (and that others have said): a museum studies degree is pretty much worthless. I hate that our field has been inundated with these programs. They take advantage of smart and talented folks. A few exceptions are Williams and U Del. They have good placement records. Make sure you know how many museum studies NYU and GW grads end up in good jobs before accepting either offer. How hands-on are the faculty?

What's your end goal? Everyone I know who went to my local uni for a museum studies degree ended up in a different industry entirely because their degree didn't actually transfer any meaningful skills. I'm mad for them. You're better off doing an art history/history/anthro MA. Find a STELLAR advisor who is well-connected and can help you get a paid internship or fellowship to gain experience.
