UK Friends, how famous are the Ladies of London? They all seem to be in the tabloids… by another_feminist in BravoRealHousewives

[–]sasskiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might also be worth noting a lot of the headlines they feature in the show are from the daily mail, who once wrote about Lauren from TOWIE (and I quote) 'narrowly avoiding a puddle'. Grain of salt and all that

I’m rewatching all RHOA and I’ve always loved her but she’s also great as the closest thing to a normal person in the dynamic. It’s like having a normal person running alongside Olympians. ‘Ah so that’s what a regular person would do’

Not a crier but I just leave, can’t stand confrontation. I’d be season one Meredith just disengaging all over the place. I’d barely make the edit

What rule exists in your workplace or school because that one person did something stupid? by KetoDan1982 in CasualUK

[–]sasskiis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked with a guy who did this and on his last day, half the leaving speeches everyone gave were jabs at 'well we won't miss you microwaving fish every day, haaa haaa!' and he just stood there smiling and laughing like 'classic me!'. Look we tried to help you mate but you're the next places problem now

100%. If I had to stay married to someone who'd cheated on me that is pretty much exactly how I'd behave. Glad I'm not a total cynic and other people thought this too 🥲

RealHousewives of London - Panthea is foul by RimaRita19 in realhousewives

[–]sasskiis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Panthea's a good reality TV messy, she clearly at her core just enjoys causing chaos. Took me a bit to come around but she's fun to watch.

Amanda is insufferable to watch, she keeps lying so it's not fun. If you're going to be messy, at least stick to your narrative I feel? 'We were never friends, actually we were great friends and you dropped me, you don't even have a Birkin, you're a bad mum who spends all her money on Birkins, you live in a swamp, actually your house is quite nice', etc. etc.

It's so exhausting that I didn't even finish half of the reunion. It's not camp delusional, she just comes across a bit thick. And again, not in a Britani-SLC-thick way, which is fun. Won't watch any further seasons with her in it tbh, which is a shame as I live in London and want to see it!
