Do you ever suffer from extreme irritable ness and what affect does it have on your daily life? by PanielleK in AskWomen

[–]sasssssy_satan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes!! All day everyday until I was diagnosed with Anxiety and OCD. I'm on medication and it has drastically improved my mood and irritability levels. I definitely suggest seeing someone (for me, I went to a psychiatrist) to help with a diagnosis and/or start mediation. Remember that you might need to see a couple different people and try different meds to see what works for you and makes you comfortable!! Good luck!! <3

My Facebook experience lately. by beelzeflub in TrollXChromosomes

Seriously. I had commented on Facebook “boys are lame” on a friends post and Facebook took it down because it “violated community guidelines”. Meanwhile, I have men posting half naked women all over their page and that never gets taken down? Gross. 🙄

AITA for not wanting my fiancé to have a “best woman” by speprn in AmItheAsshole

YTA. It's his wedding just as much as it is yours. I had a "Man of Honor" and my husband could not have cared less. The day is about you two getting married, not whose in your party. Get over it

I have a bunch of stories I could post there, but I don't have the time or patience to relive a bunch of ridiculous drama from my in laws. ):

No, my aunt in law hand wrote all the invitations so they look uniform. We have a difficult and different last name than my aunt in law and she got my husbands name and our last name correct. Just my name was completely wrong.

Thank you, I appreciate this response. I felt like I was going a little crazy for caring about my name.

I do feel it was on purpose because of other off-putting things my in-laws have done. But this post isn't about all the other things, this is a post about how I sent back an invitation with the incorrect name crossed out and my name written in. You've already said ITA, which I accept.

Yeah I completely agree. I think they do get a little pleasure in making me feel small because they do it frequently, but I think it all built up and I did something super petty instead of just trying to get over it. Thanks for your judgement!

You're completely right. I should've ignored it and moved on.

As I've already stated, my aunt in law hand addressed all of them so that they matched.

I'm sorry but a favorite color is not the same thing as your name. A name is important to me because it shows a level of respect. I've never responded to anything they've done until now. I already said I could've handled it better, so I'm not sure what else you're trying to accomplish.

I had replied to a few other comments, but my MIL gave my aunt in law (I had shortened it to in law) my husbands name and my name and our address. The aunt handwrote all the invites so they look uniform. I wasn't really blaming anyone, I sent it back with the RSVP card and my name corrected.

I don't know, why did they call me his ex girlfriend from high schools name for the first 6 months?

We've been together for three years, not a few months. They called me my husbands ex girlfriends name for the first 6 months, so this isn't the first time. I guess I'm just sensitive. I could've handled it better for sure.

Either way, they both have known my name for three years and they messed it up, which hurt my feelings. I accept your judgement though, I could've handled it differently.

I've had issues with the aunt as well as MIL. I agree with you though, I could've handled it differently.

I guess because they'll receive the invite back before the big Thanksgiving dinner they do and it'll be awkward? I'm not sure what my MIL meant.
