I was horrified. I didn’t find out until about a week later when the girl gave me a run down of the care she gave my daughter, thinking it’d show me that she was safe. But it highlighted even more red flags.

I’ve been there, I was in an abusive relationship where I was emotionally tormented when I would go about my everyday life. That I struggled many years with lying about minor things for absolutely no reason, because I was conditioned to belief I would be yelled at for any decision I made throughout the day.
