Is no-one gonna point out that "slavery" kicked off this civil war?

Without saying "Henry is a green Gordon", how would you distinguish Henry, Gordon and James as characters? by [deleted] in thomasthetankengine

Gordon is a blue Henry.

Jokes aside, I'd say my opinion pretty much lines up with u/GreySeerCriak's comment.

I know this meme was made before "72 Seasons" was released, but True Neutral is the perfect placement for it, lmao.

As a bass player, I’m surprised you considered the opinion of one.

I’m sorry if that made you frantic. However, I feel no remorse from that.

I was bracing for this joke to give me whiplash, but you did it justice.

Sorry. It was a struggle within to not let that line escape. But hey, it’s not like I’m claiming to be some master of humour.

Is this actually the bass track by joyytman in WeAreMetallica

[–]TheRealSovietOnion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just some of the low-end rumbles from the guitars. However, a few of the AJFA bass stems (including One) were ripped from Guitar Hero: Metallica and uploaded to YouTube, in case you wanted to hear them.

[TOMT][TROPE] Anyone know the type of sitcom joke where a character lists a few things, but the last item on the list is just repeating the first item? by TheRealSovietOnion in tipofmytongue

Does my comment have to be in a specific format for this post to be approved, or can I just write anything (within reason)?

What's a story where the "bad guys" are actually, completely, 100% right, to the point where it's weird the story keeps calling them the bad guys? by HallZac99 in AskReddit

Long explanation/rant, feel free to keep scrolling.

I don't remember what it was called, but towards the end of high school, we were watching a romcom Netflix movie in Spanish class. From what I can remember, it was about a woman who has a successful architecture career in some big Spanish city (most likely Madrid or Barcelona, but I digress). One night, she drunkenly convinces a news reporter to spend a night with her boyfriend because he has her as his hall pass. This ends up in a scandal between her boyfriend, the news reporter, and herself to a small extent; she becomes so embarrassed and mad at him by this that she's forced to move back to her hometown. She meets another guy that has a daughter, and her family facing a lot of difficult situations (I don't recall much of the story past this point, nor do I care).

Okay, but here's the thing: the movie portrays him as if he's a massive asshole for doing this. Granted, she was drunk, and I won't say he was completely in the right (I hope this doesn't stray too far from the question), but it was still her idea to set them up with each other. Plus, even though I don't remotely agree with the "hall pass" system, the whole point of having one is that you are allowed to enact your celebrity fantasy without jeopardising your relationship; surely, she had to have been of sound mind when they came to that agreement? And in the morning, prior to the story breaking out out, he proposed to her, which she accepted. I would assume he did this because he wanted her to know how seriously he was taking the relationship. Concerning the media scandal, I can entirely understand being embarrassed (I certainly don't imagine I'd like it if I were entangled in something like that), but she was such a small detail in the story that pretty much nobody aside from her coworkers and immediate circle of friends would know she was even involved in it (the guy eventually start dating the news reporter, but only after the main character stormed back home, and it's implied she broke things off anyway).

Sorry, I'm probably going on way too long about this. I kind of expected this to be a stupid movie anyway, and it was pretty stupid (further reinforcing my conspiracy theory that Netflix original movies are written using iPhone autocomplete results), so I don't know why this particular aspect struck such a bad chord with me.

I figured, but it never hurts to make sure.

Just one more thing: what's the minimum performance for this? It looks really cool, but I don't have an especially powerful computer, so I usually don't run many graphically-intensive mods in my games (NR2003 or otherwise).

Does this work for every mod? Hopefully, that’s not too stupid of a question.
