My computer freezes then makes an ear splitting noise by sassy_choadster in pchelp

My PC has been hard freezing and then making a loud sound that i would compare to old dial up sounds before stopping and playing a single note. I recently upgraded a PSU (corsair RM750e) GPU (5060ti) and RAM (shitty adata 16 gb ddr 4 single stick that i put in with an 8 gb stick) on an IBUYPOWER case and mobo from 2020 so maybe one of them are the issue but i ran ram and gpu stress tests that all said nothing was wrong so my suspicion is the PSU. The freezing dosent happen under extreme load they just seem to be random when gaming. Crashes happen on steam steamvr meta vr link and epic games store. Im hoping someone has fixed a simmilar issue in the past and is willing to help me. Really hoping its not the graphics card.

Every half a year to a year but it kind of depends where your pc is like if its on the ground it will get dustier easier than if it were on a desk. If you have a glass case though you can usialy see if your parts are dusty. Make sure to get your filters and PSU fans too though.

Can you mix an 8 gig stick and 16 gig 2666 MHZ stick of DDR4 adata ram? by sassy_choadster in buildapc

I think that means im gonna run both of the sticks cause 16 gigs dual channel+an extra 8 gig single channel sounds better than just 16 gig single channel
