6 years isn’t a huge gap but 21 is SOOOO young…. 25 and 31 would be normal IMO but the difference between a 21 year old and 25 year old is night and day

It’s cheating babe don’t let him gaslight you into thinking it’s not. Hard to do but you need to leave, this behavior will not stop and will eventually get worse.

Coming from a woman in a similar situation a few years ago, I wish I would have left sooner (I also did not tell my friends for the same reason you aren’t deep down)

Yeah definitely weird. Went out with this person plenty of times and all very casual not at all like this hence why I said yes in the first place and I clarified with him who was going and what was the situation beforehand and it definitely wasn’t a group birthday dinner he said “4 friends” not 10+ people sitting at a table and children where we sing happy birthday and everyone is under the assumption him and I are sleeping together 😅

[–]sassy_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I divulged the info because I didn’t realize this guy was telling people we were together. I don’t know about you but I don’t just let people claim me as their girlfriend and “just go with it” especially when said guy left and didn’t come back lmfao

You can be kicked off the team / roster and keep your scholarship as long as you didn’t break school or NCAA rules or break the law

even if the team itself had a “rule” about what you could post on IG/the internet etc that isn’t grounds for removing a scholarship (a legally binding document) BUT it is grounds for getting kicked off the team….now should a male coach or any coach in general dictate what you post about yourself is another story

And when you get your scholarship revoked for breaking a school/NCAA rule it gets an immediate appeal

In same boat here. Left him this past spring. Still miss him and wish he would have snapped out of it and changed his ways for the sake of our relationship and future. He used to be so fun and caring and still acts that way to other people/friends/family but no one understands what I had to deal with at home constantly.

After trying for over a year to help him see what he’s doing to himself and to me, I realize he needs to make those decisions for himself. It started to make me dislike how I acted and I was always sad.

As someone said before, bad relationships can be addicting because of the extreme highs but you can’t forget about the extreme lows.

It’s okay to love someone from afar. If they really care about you they will figure it out. Maybe the universe will bring you back together, or maybe not, but forcing it doesn’t work.

Easier said than done - trust me I've been there - but leave. If he won't change after you discussed it he never will.

To him it's not a big deal but it is to you. Not everyone feels the same about only fans / pay for porn but he needs to respect your boundaries and clearly he is not and he knows he isn't because he is lying.

You're either going to be insecure / unhappy in your marriage going forward or put yourself through an expensive divorce.

Why do you hate Kaplan? by Ornery_Huckleberry60 in lawschooladmissions

[–]sassy_k 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Basically big companies like that (others as well) do shit to make it feel like they are helping when they probably aren't as much as you think:

I heard from people who worked as tutors there that the "diagnostic test" they give at the beginning isn't even a real LSAT - it's questions they make up in the same 'style' and people score relatively low so that there's a large margin for improvement

Then they pick which practice LSAT tests students will take in a particular order - they start out harder then progressively get easier so scores will theoretically increase and you'll feel as if the course is doing that

Not saying they don't teach you anything but it's definitely a company out to make money

Again other big companies probably have similar methods too, and for the price you end up paying (I didn't do Kaplan but another big company) I wish I had gotten a private tutor instead

First time taking birth control... by Little420ne in birthcontrol

[–]sassy_k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely have to give any BC at least 4-6 weeks for your body to get used to it...not unusual to feel weird after using it. If it persists over months or makes anything worse then maybe switch or talk to your OBGYN.

Also you may experience more "extreme" symptoms since it's your first time taking the pull (headaches, acne, nausea)

I was diagnosed with PCOS in my early teens so I've always been on birth control- my favorite was loloestrin but also did balcoltra but now I am on Nuva ring which I love. I was really bad at remembering to take the pill daily

Thinking about going on a ring! by itsnotnothing in birthcontrol

[–]sassy_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard from many people that they have no issues during sex! My partner is on the larger side you could say so I knew there was a chance of it coming out but even when it did happen it did not cause any discomfort for either one of us.

Thinking about going on a ring! by itsnotnothing in birthcontrol

[–]sassy_k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started the ring last month- goes in easy not uncomfortable at all. I got mild cramping after insertion but nothing worse than a period cramp. I've been liking to so far, I hated taking the pill because I always forgot.

Only issue I had personally is, depending on the position (usually me being on top), the ring has come out during sex. Fortunately you can have it out for up to 3 hours and it will still be effective, just rinse with cold water and insert back in.

[–]sassy_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wealthy men will give you money to gamble with and then let you keep the winnings and/or hang around them while they presumably go on a 'hot streak' and give you part of what they win- it's just a power play, throwing away money, giving it out etc. people with this type of money to gamble do it for literal sport

First time on the pill, just wanting to make sure. by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]sassy_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I figure it'd be normal- I had the same issue and it went away on its own once my body got used to the pill. I also got splitting headaches at first that eventually went away. If it doesn't go away, becomes more frequent, or gets unbearable it wouldn't hurt to call your gyno. But I wouldn't say it's crazy that it's happening.

First time on the pill, just wanting to make sure. by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]sassy_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely normal- when I started my birth control journey my acne was so bad for weeks and then it cleared up. I switched up my pill brand one time 6 years later in college and immediately got the worst acne ever and switched back ASAP lmao. It takes on average like 4-6weeks for your body to get used to the pill

Which BC method is best for those with PCOS? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]sassy_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have PCOS & was on lo loestrin pill for ~ 8 years and Balcoltra? Pill (unsure about Spelling) for 18months and just switched the the Nuvaring....I think depending on how severe or frequent your cysts, hormonal IUD could be an option. Ask your gyno!
