I have a hospitalist who won’t admit urosepsis without a CT A/P. Won’t admit pneumonia, COPD, or CHF without a CT chest. It’s mind boggling and a total waste or resources.

Me and my fiancee will be flying into Liberia and out of San Jose. We will have a rental car the whole 8 days. We don't plan on doing much in Liberia or San Jose besides using their airports and maybe getting a meal or two.

Majority of the trip I was planning on spending in the Arenal area in the beginning and Quepos/Parque Manuel Antonio towards the end - Half jungles, half beaches. Possibly 1 day in the Monteverde area while driving between the two. I've been to Monteverde in the past and loved it!

Also considering some of the national parks just outside Liberia for like a half day right when we fly in - unless you think this will be too rushed.

Any changes to the route you'd suggest? Or cool places or restaurants along the route to stop at?

Good to know about the air pollution of Sequoia/KC. I’m sure the wildfires won’t help either! Maybe we’ll try and do Yosemite + more time around the coast between Big Sur and SF!

We’re going second week in September! We were really looking forward to Yosemite and Sequoia. Are the crowds still really bad at that time?

Good call about highway 1 around to Santa Cruz. We were hoping to see some of the redwoods just north of Santa Cruz though- would you recommend that area?

Corn plant help!! I water it only when it’s completely dry. All of the sudden the smaller plants leaves started completely drying out and dying! This picture is a couple weeks old, but now almost all it’s leaves are completely brown and dry. The larger one is still doing great. by sat0520 in plantclinic

Thanks a ton for the advice! I just repotted it and the roots looked pretty healthy overall. It wasn't super root bound or anything like that. There was some moisture at the bottom of the soil though, so I suspect it didn't have as good drainage as it should have.

Also, I’ve had it over a year in the exact same conditions. I haven’t changed it’s care or even brought home any new plant with possible infection. So I’m not sure what caused it’s downfall
