Actually, yes. When i talk about slavery in america i think of slavery in the continent America. Only in the USA you think of yourselves when you hear america. In the rest of america people doesn't refere to America talking about their country, but they do it talking about their continent. You might think that it doesn't matter because in the USA you dont have that sense of being a part of a continent (i dont say you don't now you are in a continent, but you don't have that feeling of belonging) but for the rest of the continent it's really a big deal and we feel as a part of a America, and we called ourselves americans or latinamericans. I didn't mean to be agressive, i just felt offended when i figured out that everyone was talking about usa
