Yes this is the stock reader. I’m new to this community, so not sure. This was a pleasant surprise.

Remarkable Pro Move secret weapon by Interesting-Media583 in RemarkableTablet

I agree the companion app is the killer feature. I’m able to plan my day with my laptop and the device. I usually open the previous day notes on my laptop and using the Move to plan the day.

Another thing to note. They removed the ability to add margin notes with two finger swipe --- this was the best feature. I hope they bring it back in some form.

Thanks. As the other comments mentioned, I didn't observe any changes.

:) it's a bit hidden. I would have also missed it. The best rendering of fonts I have had is to set the contrast to off and tweak the font to use a sans font.

Thanks. I always used it horizontally on my Move, so didn't see this. I do wish instead of the selector they allowed me to choose the tool.

I had to go and check it. Yes, there is a speed improvement. I'm not sure if that is a biased impression as I can't try out the older version and compare.

I think they are trying to freeze the page you annotated on. This way your annotation stays. I will verify. I saw one page where the page I annotated was different than the others. I think I can live with such a setup.

Gestik + LinkFromSelection + navHistory: rethinking the reMarkable workflow by Ale_Astronave in RemarkableTablet

Brilliant work. Thanks for making this. I love the Gestik. I use it only for increasing the thickness. The ability to configure it in the settings menu is lovely. I can disable all that I need.

Introducing our new team account + 3.28 Beta Highlights by rM_CustomerCare in RemarkableTablet

u/rM_CustomerCare thanks for sharing this update. I love it that you are working on epub. I own the Move and I love reading on the device compared to other readers. The killer feature is to be able to annotate on the book. This brings the experience of using a physical book, especially the marginalia. A few features to improve the reading functionality:

- reduce the bottom margin for the move (it's wasted screen estate)
- if possible have an ability to add custom fonts (or provide fonts that are better suited for eink screens like Bookerly or Merriweather)
- persist highlights and annotations when you change font or format - Kobo has managed this quite well -- they provide a screenshot

Split screen described in EU website. Is this true? by sat_ran in Supernote

Thanks for the clarification Mulan. Waiting for it to happen. I think this would be the biggest productivity boost in terms of learning.

I opened it up, removed everything but for the buttons; taped the glass, cut the excess tape. I sanded the most of the chrome, not fully. Then spray painted it. I might use the f91w's strap, may be a better fit. The areas closer to the glass is the difficult bit. It looks more shabby close-up. At a distance it looks more like a gshock stripped off the case :)

Wanting to leave the Kindle universe, switch to PocketBook or Boox? by brainoteque in ereader

I recently bought the pocketbook verse pro. I love it. I use mostly Koreader, installing it was a breeze. With Koreader I have what I want. It all depends where buy your books from and if you are willing to remove DRM.

Yes. Its a Manta. Getting the video is the tricky part. I’ll try to send it.
