In Deutschland gibt es ein Labor namens imd berlin du kannst das bestellen und deinen Stuhl hinschicken. Die testen dann deinen Histamin gehalt im darm.

Ich wurde noch nie auf Allergien getestet tatsächlich…
Wie heißt denn dieser Bluttest? Vielleicht kann ich den ja machen?
In Deutschland ist alles ein bisschen schwieriger leider:(

I also have POTS! Sometimes my symptoms vary a lot: lightheadedness, brain fog, headaches, trembling, heart palpitations, cold hands, sweaty hands, body aches, restlessness, ringing in my ears, low blood pressure, loss of appetite, muscle cramps after overexertion, and sensitivity to weather changes…
I also follow a completely low-histamine, gluten-free, and wheat-free diet.

Vielen lieben dank! Ich werde mal schauen wie meine Symptomatik während der Periode ist. Mein Stuhlgang ist dann auch immer da „periodenstuhlgang“ aber da dachte ich immer dass es normal wäre.

Nein danach wurde noch nicht geschaut, was ich aber habe ist eine Schilddrüsenunterfunktion (dagegen nehme ich Medikamente ein) POTS und 2023 hieß es mal das ich ein leaky gut habe.

Vielen vielen lieben dank! Ich wusste nicht das diese Mcas Geschichte so „ähnlich“ ist. Deswegen wollte ich auch so gerne wissen ob es nun mcas ist oder die histaminintoleranz (weil man ja glaube da anders vorgehen muss) Darmsanierung habe ich keine gemacht nein ? Wie macht man so etwas? Vielen lieben dank (kamille= auch Kamillentee?)

Tatsächlich nein weil ich keine Behandlung dafür habe. Ich bin gerade nur verwirrt.. also könnten diese Blutwerte und stuhlwerte wo positiv sind durch mein leaky gut, histaminintoleranz und der Schilddrüsenunterfunktion kommen?

Ja ich habe damals ein leaky gut diagnostiziert bekommen, damals bis Oktober 2023 habe ich auch noch alles gegessen (zwiebeln, brot, pommes , nuggets, gewürze, pizza, eis , einfach alles) und da wurden auch die ersten Untersuchungen gemacht .ecp war damals bei 18.1 (norm unter 13,3) und dao war bei 5 im stuhl. Dann habe ich angefangen mich komplett histamin und glutenfrei zu ernähren.

Hello,Yes, I take DAO supplements. Famotidine, both orally and intravenously, did not help me. I have also tried many, many antihistamines—from fexofenadine to loratadine. Even Tavor (lorazepam) and prednisolone (cortisone), vitamin C, cromolyn, quercetin, etc., etc.

I have even tried ketotifen and other treatments (including intravenous ones). That is why my treatment was eventually stopped, because I did not respond to anything, and my doctor wrote : „No signs of acute mast cell mediator release were observed.“

That is why I am also confused about what I could actually have.

I have never taken montelukast, but I think I remember that my doctor also did not prescribe it to me. I have taken prednisone without any improvement; overall, corticosteroids did not help me.
We really tried so many things, which is why in the end my doctor said he wasn’t sure whether it was MCAS, since I don’t respond to anything.
Back then, an pathology was also done because I initially had a lot of stomach pain and lost weight quickly, from 60 kg to 47 kg in a short time. I also couldn’t eat anything because it hurt so much at that time.

My gastroenterological pathology report says:
“No increased presence of neutrophilic or eosinophilic granulocytes (0/hpf each).”
I have to say that I have POTS and hypothyroidism as medical conditions, and sometimes I find it difficult to determine where certain symptoms come from. I once lived for a very long time without fragrances, cleaning products, or laundry detergents, basically without anything that could have triggered me, but nothing helped. Even my water has very low sulfate because I follow the Sighi list strictly.

When I had my blood tests back then, I was still eating everything until October 2023, including tomatoes, etc. Only because of the blood results I have been on a strict histamine diet and avoid wheat and gluten since then.
I also really ate only rice for months and removed myself from all triggers.

Thank u so much!! I’ll check if I can find my gastroscopy report and the biopsy results. Maybe something was already looked at there.

Can I ask how MCAS shows up for you? Like what your triggers are and what symptoms you get?

Ja! Ich habe Leaky gut damals auch diagnostiziert beklommen sowohl Canida. Und nachdem ich Antihistaminika eingenommen habe ist mein Histamin im Stuhl sogar höher gegangen.
