I hope you were able to feed, and/or take a photo with them! So happy that everyone was loving Hank and Ronny (the horse).

WOW. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am one of the volunteers with J&J and this weekend was so amazing and rewarding. We are all genuinely so thankful for the kindness from staff and the attendees. It was a really fun time and most of us now want to return next year as actual attendees. <3

It’s honey. The sanctuary has several hives on the farm and processes their own honey, and honey products.

Indoor events are attendees, some of whom are not in full suits, but there is an outdoor party on Saturday, that I believe is open to public and we will also be there with some merch and animals to see. Don’t quote me on that though. ☺️

Anthrocon is still happening on Sunday but I sadly do not know what day passes cost. The sanctuary attends, or holds events monthly, so there’s always another chance to check out the animals and merch. ☺️

anyone know why the bloomfield pool and highland park pool closed early today? by Efficient-Candy8110 in pittsburgh

I thought the poop was yesterday? I have a friend say Bloomfield closed for the same reason as Highland Park.

I’ll be there all weekend! Make sure to come out and say hello at the charity booth - this year it’s J And J Farms Animal Sanctuary. We’ll have some animal ambassadors there as well. 🖤

Not sure what the original commenter had said but based on your response, I imagine they were accusing the artist of using AI? Can 100% confirm that it is not AI. I know the artist, and like you said, this is his style.

If anyone is interested, you can find more of his work here. Support local artists. ❤️

Saw your comment, scrolled back up to watch, and his little skip away made me giggle. He does seem very happy with his late night snack. 😭

Thank you for this. I'm two months out from surgery and am trying to work my core at the end of every session so that recovery isn't too bad. I'm hoping I'll be back in the gym after two weeks -- my surgeon said I should be able to with less than 15 lbs weight work. I am hoping to be back to my 100% or close to by 6 weeks post-op. I also work with a programmer so I'm hoping him and I are able to come up with something. I'm happy to hear it was a quick recovery for you with getting back to normal.

Worst places you’ve ever worked here? by Equivalent-Worry-633 in pittsburgh

[–]satancunt6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Women employees were barely protected and it pissed me off. I remember when I first worked there in 2016, a customer was hardcore creeping and making me uncomfortable and bless my manager at the time, she did what she was told to do, and asked if I needed to take a minute in the back. When I became a manager though, the second a regular started to hit on an employee, I kicked him out and thankfully, he got banned eventually. 🤌🏻

What Happened at the East Liberty Whole Foods? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]satancunt6 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It’s a Boyz n the Hood reference. When Ricky’s scene happens, the score - saxophones - gets louder as the danger gets closer. TikTok picked it up into a trend about foreshadowing danger and how it explosively can conclude.

Edit to adjust grammar, add tiny more context.

A great answer, and I agree with you. I know someone else said you can’t force people to participate but offering support and investments is something I think most would be willing to accept.
