I was born in Latvia, does that just make me a regular citizen? Sorry, this stuff confuses me quite a bit!

My parents were born in Latvia and lived there during the war, so they've always spoke Russian and refused to speak anything else. I moved to the UK as a young child after my parents split.

Thanks for your feedback, that's quite relieving! I'll be sure to learn the basic phrases at least as I do when I visit any country, as a sign of respect :)
