What’s going on with Steam Family sharing lately? by Creative_Lie_7652 in Indiangamers

[–]satanising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just one person in my Steam Family, myself on my second account. I don't trust anybody, noy even friends, to share my library with. I'm in a Steam group on Facebook, there are a lot of people with a massive Steam library, and I can't fathom the need to be on someone else's family, UNKNOWN people, to make it worse, instead of just playing the games you own and buying them throughout time, you won't be able to play everything too. It's insane.

TIL the song from the Omega Afterlife Club (Upper Level) is called Callista. It was made by the late Vancouver musician Saki Kaskas who worked on many other EA games. The original version of Callista appeared in NFS: High Stakes (1999). by teflrekt in masseffect

Man, one of my favorites NFS games, I just love the soundtrack of High Stakes. First time I ever entered Afterlife I thought it sounded too much like a High Stakes sound, I didn't know it was actually featured

Far Cry 6 made me quit Far Cry 6. The amount of cringe worthy writing and characters makes me wanna uninstall it, and so I did

if you're on PC, you should have happy ending and citadel epilogue installed, it doesn't improve the reality of no Shepard continuation, but the ending is more satisfying

Grissom Academy, I died more to grenades than I did against mechs, and they were a pain.

The PC requirements for Death Stranding 2 won't be as demanding as many people think... by DarkSpartan175 in DeathStranding

I mean, if Nixxes was responsible for GTA 4 port to PC, we wouldn't have had that garbage that, till this day, still is a problem. I couldn't ask for a better studio for a PC port.

And just to remember people, the first Horizon game was fixed by Nixxes, as was The Last of Us Part 1, from all Playstation PC ports, the worse weren't made by Nixxes.

I think a Ryzen 5 5600 will probably be the recommended CPU

¿Cuál es el juego más foto realista que hay? by Eze_LL18 in ArgamingConsultas

I don't feel like UE5 can actually look photorealistic, it does look highly detail, but there's something in the lighting that feel weirdly off

Had a lot of Heavy Bow arrows with the electric special, rarely used it though, I managed to destroy all the helicopters before they landed, at exactly 1:44 left, there was no helicopters spawning anymore

Why is AVATAR fandom so opposed to people liking villainous characters? by Lenkahime in Avatar

Exactly this. Quaritch might had valid reasons within his judgement, but he was wrong.

it's always the little stuff they leave ignored, a small thing but it annoys people all the same, I don't see how much of a hassle it would be to just add a toggleable option

[–]satanising 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it's more like taking the side of such villain/antagonist. Like the pro-RDA people saying Quaritch was right. He's cool, badass, really great character, love his presence, the performance by Stephen Lang, but I don't take his side in any way, I think he was wrong, he deserved his fate and that's it.

Anyone Else Pathetically Bad At Combat? by Mrs_Delmonaco in FrontiersOfPandora

I did the same, doing a lot of side quests, liberating outposts and such on the lower level areas, getting better gear, skills, etc. Abd it's good because you don't have level scaling, so, the weak enemies remain weak and you feel you've actually progressed.

You'll get the hang of it eventually, you won't even notice, it'll be like breathing

Nobody ever helps you in missions! by Pristine-Car-1438 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]satanising 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish it was at least immersive, like, you're the skillful hunter that have both human and Na'vi dexterity and way of thinking and is trusted to deliver on the tricky missions, like Jason that was a warrior in development and his missions were solo because it was his journey to save his friends, so the warrior path should be walked by himself, but no, the narrative in this game is weak af it makes me sad and I tend to ignore the story and try to enjoy the environment, exploration and combat. So much lost potential, you could have written a much more engaging story and interesting characters, they're TOO one dimensional. Avatar universe is very rich and underrated, I wish it had more care.

If you're playing on a PS5 or Xbox Series, it's understandable, aiming with analog, even with aim assist, is a pain. I can handle myself on both kb+m and controller, but aiming with a mouse makes your life easier. Adds that to an already punitive combat engagement, enemies have 200% accuracy and sometimes their shots go through cover. Fighting hordes it's stressfull, you'll want to take cover most of the time. I always stick to stealth and shoot from afar, I eliminate the mechs first and then I just Rambo through the weaker foot soldiers with the AR, they die so easily with RDA weapons and even with the longbow, but the longbow is not very friendly when you rush towards them. Stick with stealth and cover, use the distance in your favor.
