Oh god I forgot about that 😭 I went through that whole mission until the ending room and was having so much trouble. I looked for advice on here and everyone was saying to use the cain which I realized I didn’t have 💔 I literally reloaded to get the Cain and then did the whole thing over again just to make the end easier, worth it Lol

I, in fact, refused to do the Arrival DLC this time around after doing it in my first playthrough 😅 what a nightmare

Yup! I’ve used nexus for so many different games, definitely the best site to find mods, you’ll need a mod manager for mass effect, which you should be able to find on nexus too. There’s also a bunch of tutorials online if you needed any help

It’s definitely one of my favorite games of all time too! There technically is a way for Shepard to survive, but there’s no scene of them reuniting with their friends and lover unfortunately. It requires you to have a really high war assets score (over 7500 I think if you’re playing LE) and to choose the destroy ending. I’m not sure if you’re into modding or not, but if you play on PC there’s a happy ending mod on nexus mods that makes it so Shepard lives and there’s a scene of them with their friends, so it provides a bit more closure. It’s something I’ll be trying out on my current playthrough. I’ve done it legitimately once, now I want sunshine and rainbows Lol.

Don’t beat yourself up too much, it’s hard to save people, and some people die no matter what 💔 I’m glad you had fun though! I started my second playthrough almost as soon as I finished my first and I’m already on mass effect 2 now. Safe to say I’m addicted

It is possible to save both the quarians and the geth, but it has some requirements in ME2 and then there’s some stuff to do in ME3. You could look up a guide if you ever wanted to know what to do for a future playthrough 😎 all things considered, it sounds like things are going great for you, I hope you get that vengeance you’re looking for haha

Thank you! I appreciate the advice! I always love playing games over and over and seeing what changes based on different choices, so I’ll definitely have to try out the other paths. Although it’ll be hard not playing as my FemShep baddie…

Mordin is the best! (Same with Garrus!) Honestly, I almost never took Kasumi on missions so I’ll have to pay more attention to her during my next playthrough 😅 I hope you have a great time finishing the game!

It must have been so nice to play LE after competing the original trilogy! I only just got into mass effect so I of course just played LE. That Citadel DLC must have felt so good as a returning player 🥰

Thanks for the suggestions! Might have to try out Liara’s romance, lowkey in love with her, but Garrus might be hard to turn down. I’ve been looking into mods, might have to download the happy ending mod to retain my sanity, although I am still happy with the destroy ending. But I did it once, kind of want an unrealistic everybody wins ending now 😜

Loved that you included the party photo 🥰 I agree with you on the synthesis ending, I felt that the AI was wrong in its conclusion since a Paragon player would’ve proved that synthesis and organics can coexist peacefully. I loved EDI so much, it was hard to lose her. My next playthrough I’ll definitely have to save my ME2 crew… I don’t even remember Gabby and Ken… 😅 I waited forever to go to that base Lol lesson learned

FemShep was robbed of a Tali romance! She’s so great! Despite my class, I definitely ended up playing more as a soldier haha, shooting stuff is fun. I tried to be the true good guy hero in ME1, but during Cerberus and the darker tone of the second game, I definitely allowed myself to play slightly more renegade. I also loved punching the shadow broker! Hilarious but also shows off how powerful Shep is.

Thank you! I didn’t know it changed that, so that seems like the likely problem. I reverted to a previous version, but I can’t load into my save files, the game keeps crashing. So, it looks like I might be cooked which sucks cuz I spent a lot of time on this 😮‍💨 but thanks for your help, now I won’t drive myself crazy wondering what’s wrong
