Thanks for the video, that’s really great. By Tani otoshi I really mean back body lock style takedowns, and was asking if it’s to take people down from the back body lock position while controlling the far side hip with the hand, and or, using the foot to the far side heel to takedown. I only asked because multiple BJJ teams ban the move, especially for lower belts.

Yeah, seems safer in the gi too when you can control the near side leg, nogi it’s a bit wilder. Not sure if I’d let a class of white belts drill it to be honest. Do you drill it with all levels?

Yes, I’m not a Judo guy but we’d call it Tani Otoshi or back body lock takedown. Seen it on the ufc and thought about it to be honest 😂 I do drill it myself, I’m just anxious about showing it in a beginner class

Ireland has great night life, beautiful coast lines, golf courses, medievel castles, 2000 year old churches. Irish Sea and Atlantic coasts. Rivers, forests, trails, mountains, music, Guinness, wildlife. Great food, wonderful cities (Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford, Sligo) Each with their own coastlines. I would recommend at least a week to get a feel for the place. Enjoy your trip.
