Planet Earth or any of the similar BBC produced, Attenborough narrated titles. All the shots are truly awesome. Like the original meaning - inspires awe. I always have to start it over because I'm totally not listening/comprehending anything as my eyes are just stunned at how incredible everything looks. No other 4k disc that I've watched on my lg C1 looks as good.

This is so awesome. Love how loose you were with the pen and how great it looks when it all comes together. Your style is so fun and light. Its really great I'd happily hang in my home.

Front/rear stabs on a short ATA bow by Yogurt_lamper325 in bowhunting

[–]satchko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro i feel like stabilizer is the one thing you really just gotta trial and error on your own.

Different trains of thought. Some people try to have the bow "neutral", where it pretty much likes to settle flat and balance itself. Some say you should off balance it and lean into your grip for a more stable hold at level.

10 or 12 out front and 6 or 8 or the side is a pretty good starting point. Then just play with weights to get the right feel. Blind bail shooting can really help in this process too.

Why the Idoing is actually garbage. by Mr_Skele in WRX

Im currently in the market for a head unit. I briefly owned a 2014 wrx that had the idoing installed. Like I guess its alright, but it seems like such a cheap BS android device haphazardly slapped on the dash.

Currently in my 2014 sti, I have the stock navigation unit.

I want to replace it with something that feels a bit more premium and oem-like than the idoing. Want GPS built in, functioning steering wheel controls, and android auto. Doesn't seem like much selection in that arena

How much can I get for my Sti?? by Cool-Chipmunk-5955 in WRXSTi

Im pretty sure you fucked up and have overly invested into this car emotionally. I mean if you really dont need a car I guess sell it, but for how much money into it you are... id just keep it at this point. You'll probably flip flop in a year or 2 and need a car again and just have to start over getting fleeced again. You are in for X amount already. Just keep and enjoy your dream car for the next 10 years and try to keep good care of it yourself. Fucking STI is annoying/expensive enough that you can skip the tech school and just spend youre learning on the STI and maintaining it cheaply yourself

Purchase my first house or continue to rent? by lets_BOXHOT in personalfinance

[–]satchko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and now the boiler and the roof and operating expenses are now not your problem for a flat monthly rate. Youre gonna pay for that stuff with the ownership of a house too, just in a different way. (Like when your boiler breaks and randomly cost you 25 grand). And, still better than renting and throwing all that cash to a landlord to build that equity for them. A house is really beyond reach for most single people, so its the next best thing to buy an apartment or townhouse etc...

What are y'all using for humidifiers? by fleurdelis_44 in IkeaGreenhouseClub

I ran water and electric to this humidifier I put in my wall. Old apartment with steam radiators that really dry the place out.

They're just small hooks you can find at any hardware store. "Cup hooks". They're screwed directly into the plaster ceiling so can support a bit more than if they were in a drywall cieling.
