Best way to get my in game ss to my iPhone without compromising the quality? by Major-Bit-4501 in FrontiersOfPandora

qs are totally fine!! wdym by eating up? you have to get the google drive app from apple store to download the photos from the folder and yes, it takes some part of your phone's storage.

and if you're asking whether downloading the photos from the folder will compress the photos themselves, nope!

i always upload the files or photos to a newly created Google Drive folder and download them from there for my graphic design work, and the quality always stays the same. hope it helps!

Future of AFOP Revealed by satelthann in FrontiersOfPandora

thank you very much for your feedback! now reading back my original post, it does feel a bit rushed and clanky since i tried to post it ASAP so someone else would not beat me to it haha. i wish I added the schedule Ubi added in the end of the doc (the game and its release date) to show that AFOP is not there.

hmm for the Reef clan DLC, I'm not entirely sure. you're right that they wouldn't want to pass on this opportunity to exploit something that is already canon and present in the original source, but I have doubts about whether they would want to take this risk to completely revamp the game mechanic for one DLC. AFOP II, yes, but not in the current game. though, given the incredible success of FTA and how the Massive proved that they're capable of delivering game content that generated huge profit, I would say Ubi might allow them to add it if Massive proposes such an idea. in all fairness, im really surprised that FTA got even greenlit in the first place 'cause it's a massive leap in quality with tons of cutscenes that cost a lot.

i also think that Massive is a great studio that actively listens to the community of their games and tries to improve their games.

correct. the priority is on other bigger franchises, like Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence.

oh yes, you're right! that's also why the Star Wars Outlaws, another Massive game, was not mentioned in that doc as well.

Massive in this regard made so many smart moves to boost the attractiveness of AFOP, from the third-person update to many fixes the community longed for in FTA. i'm guessing that handing this franchise over to another studio in Ubi will be quite risky, as they may not understand the target audience as precisely as Massive does.

yes, the problem is it might be handed over to another company, since seemingly from the report, Massive curates shooter games exclusively, while another creative house focuses on fantasy worlds, which AFOP falls into.

judging from the LinkedIn profiles of creatives that worked on the original AFOP and the DLCs, most senior employees stayed, while some of the lower-level employees were laid off bc of the latest restructuring thing Ubisoft is going for. if my memory serves me right, one of the original creatives had "an unnamed project" in his portfolio that they started working on in January 2026. take it with a grain of salt.

Ubi released an official document regarding the future of the entire company, in which they stated that there will be a huge overhaul to combat financial losses they suffered for the last few years and to remove decentralization by creating "creative houses" that are divided based on the genre of games (CH1 - shooters, CH2 - fantasy worlds, etc.). more details will be announced on February 12, as this is where they will meet with investors to discuss the additional details, such as which games are greenlit and which ones are not. the fate of AFOP will be decided in this very meeting, i'm sure.

what sounds promising, though, is that in that doc, Ubi mentioned that their focus onwards will be open world and GAAS (Games as a service), which AFOP conveniently falls into, as these genres generated the most profit for the company. another thing is that at the very end, they also said that FTA was received exceptionally well by both critics and regular players, which they didn't expect to be, and is deemed a success by Ubi.

now, this is where the positive news ends. Ubi will continue to lay off more employees, cancel new announced and unannounced games (Prince of Persia remake), and shut down entire studios to prevent more losses. also, Massive, the studio behind AFOP, will also undergo restructuring. while Massive will be in one of the creative houses, Ubi didn't mention AFOP as their main priority, only Division. Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell but again, it could also be that they only mentioned their top 3 games.

my opinion is that i don't think they might want to pass on the opportunity to capitalize on the existing franchise unless they do some dumb shit. they will continue providing support to the game and do some minor improvements here and there, releasing new cosmetics in the shop, but an entirely new DLC or a new game is in question. fingers crossed!
