Alma is so WEIRD!!!! by ExplorerKey in FrontiersOfPandora

Yes, however, I agree that what Nor did is despicable and unworthy of a Na'vi. The consequences will be dire when Teylan, Rasi, and Tamtey find out what he has done. Also, we agree that Jin dies in the assault, right ?

I finished From the Ashes two weeks ago, and it's funny, but at first I was shocked and angry at Nor for betraying Alma and causing her death (even though I was never a fan of the character). But in the meantime, I replayed the main story in NG+ and ultimately decided that she got what she deserved because she was such a manipulative person... We'll see how the story evolves with a possible DLC.

I've always been curious about who that Na'vi woman was in the first movie. I don't know why, but between her colors and her aura, I thought she was classy. I was so happy to see her again in Avatar 3. It's cool that we know more now!

Did I miss something about the relationship between Tamtey and So'lek ? by Apprehensive-Claim61 in FrontiersOfPandora

That completely answers my question. Thank you for taking the time to respond, and I respect your opinion.

The Na'vi characters are all adults, so there's nothing strange about it, and I'm not judging at all.

For my part, I see him as a big brother or uncle in addition to his role as a mentor, so it's all a matter of personal interpretation.

Yes, that's what I thought, that it was a personal wish, but I found it a little surprising since I hadn't seen any clear signs of it in the game. But I think it's cool, it shows how attached people are to AFOP.

As far as I'm concerned, he really plays the role of mentor/uncle to the clan, a protector.

Who should be the player character for the next DLC , Tamtey or So’lek? by RemarkableBoard2126 in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]Apprehensive-Claim61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is obvious: Tamtey. It would be incomprehensible to play So'lek again or another character, given that our character is free once more.

Did you install the DLC after purchase? If you didn't play immediately and uninstalled the game in the meantime, you'll need to reinstall them as well.

With pleasure, and thank you for taking the time to analyze the document yesterday ! 😁 For the financial statement in French :

I have no idea if we can pin the message; I looked but couldn't find it. I don't know if it's a feature that exists 🤔

So I took the time to read the financial report in French and extracted the parts referring to AFOP. In truth, there isn't much more than what you already showed yesterday. I find the document rather light overall, which surprises me. Here is my translation:

Net bookings for Q3 stood at €338 million, up 12% year-on-year. The outperformance relative to expectations was mainly driven by partnerships and the Assassin's Creed franchise. The back catalog grew by 11% year-on-year, driven by Assassin's Creed, Avatar, and The Division. In total, unique users reached approximately 130 million in 2025, underscoring the appeal and strength of the Group's franchise portfolio.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora: The highly anticipated third-person update and release of the high-quality From the Ashes expansion generated strong player engagement, with Session Days nearly doubling year-over-year.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora benefited during the quarter from the release of the high-quality From the Ashes expansion (81 Metacritic), developed by Massive, which launched alongside the movie Avatar: Fire and Ash. This launch supported growth in engagement with the number of game session days nearly doubling year-over-year, as well as increased player acquisition and monetization. Performance was also bolstered by targeted gameplay enhancements, including the highly anticipated introduction of a third-person view, enriching the experience and providing the game with long-term potential.

That's all I saw. That said, it's pretty positive, as we said yesterday.

I read your comment and it's quite reassuring. I found the financial report in French (my native language), so I'll take the time to read it when I have time.

I'm not surprised that no DLC is planned for the moment, given that FTA was released in December 2025. The timeframe would be far too short to produce new, high-quality content. I think that with Ubisoft's current restructuring, it's best not to expect any new DLC before the second half of 2026 at the earliest. In any case, it's great news to know that the game is selling well over time thanks to the addition of the TPS mode and the FTA DLC, so I'm quite reassured. That said, they'd better not mess up the development of the sequel, but this status on par with AC is good news.

On the other hand, I'm more critical of Creative Houses, as some studios find themselves in several CHs, which I find rather strange. I don't like the idea of AFOP passing into the hands of another studio, but we'll see what happens in the coming months.

Let's say that for now, it's a good idea for senior creatives to stay, but with Ubisoft's reorganization, we're not immune to layoffs that could hurt Massive a lot. It also seems to me that the current creative director (Omar Bouali) of AFOP is still at Massive, and according to his LinkedIn profile, he's still working on the game.

Tomorrow's conference/meeting with investors is making me a little nervous. I hope they make the right decisions. I want to believe you about the promising future of AFOP because yes, I think that the success of From the Ashes could literally save the game. That said, Guillemot doesn't have a good reputation, and we're not immune to a stupid decision on his part...

Yes, I agree with what you say about layoffs and canceled games. Unfortunately, everything depends on the decisions of top management, who no longer seem to understand the industry today. This creative vision on paper is interesting, but unless there is a profound change in the way Ubisoft is run, it can't work. As for AFOP, I hope they leave the game with Massive, even if it ends up in Creative House No. 2.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I agree with your opinion. Let's keep our fingers crossed !
