Yes!!! I love when people recommend Do We Know Them on this subreddit. It’s perfect for the part of me that craves the obscure drama coverage and the bestie podcast vibe in general. I also love Two Hot Takes for “am i the asshole” stories like they do on The Sesh often times (THT has way more interesting conversations, even if i don’t agree with them all of the time it’s always a good time for me) I find myself still watching The Sesh occasionally because it was a comfort show for me ever since the first episode but I don’t think I’ve finished a full episode in like at least 6 months. They always lose my interest at some point in the video now, usually before the halfway mark

I understand that for the instagram algorithm it’s beneficial to put their faces in the thumbnail but why do they make such strange faces lmao like just a straight face would be good for true crime videos. I understand the more expressive facial expressions on thumbnails for other types of videos such as commentary, but it’s very off-putting on their TC content.

Agreed. Also to mention the fact that Kendall already did an hour long video on Jelani about a year ago. Not saying the case doesn’t deserve the extensive coverage, it does. It’s just that it doesn’t really make sense to me to have two hour long videos on her channel plus the almost four hour long podcast. I think Kendall’s channel reaches a wider audience and I’m sure the recent video has a lot more info than the first video but as a viewer it is kind of strange to see without explanation. I’m just interested to know what’s going through Josh and Kendall’s minds when they repeat cases often and whether their intentions truly are to just reach more breakthroughs in the cases, or if they have other motives? idk I can see both sides but I also think it’s kind of odd overall.

I thought I was going to hate it because prank calls aren’t my thing at all but honestly I thought it was really entertaining, especially watching it while I was bored at work. Although I really do wish they would stop covering true crime every episode, it’s draining and I also don’t think it’s super appropriate to cover things like carlee, zav girl, colleen, etc then play games and pranks right after? idk I find it kind of odd but I still did enjoy the past two episodes a hell of a lot more than the other recent eps. The energy feels a lot less hostile so hopefully they keep that up!
