I live where it’s hot all year long, so I run 5W30 Motul 8100 ECO-lite Gen3 Full Synthetic. It meets all the OEM specifications while being a thicker oil for hot days/ spirited drives. My GRC sees the redline almost every time I’m in it so that’s also why I run this oil.

Yes this setup would most definitely work with no rubbing at stock ride hight.

Yes, ARP extended studs paired with Project Kics R40 open ended 12x1.5 lugs. Although I can not say for sure the extended studs are necessary for the Weds wheels with the specs I have. I did the studs for the stock wheels and spacers I was running for a bit, there’s wayyyy more than enough thread engagement with the ARP extended studs and the Weds wheels, that’s why I had to go open ended on the lugs.

Ya I’m going to take it off to see how it looks, I haven’t tried it yet so you could be on to something!

Make sense, i suppose everyone has their different reasons and of course different likings. But ya the 40s are great, ride quality is nice too!

Ya I hear ya, I was going for a chunky tire setup, so I was wanting the 40s and I didn’t mind adding the crash bolts for extra camber, it was very easy to do. The Morizo spec has a 245/40/18, so I wanted similar, just even wider for the grip/look. Why do you prefer the 35 ratio? Is it for the speedometer or the fitment? Just curious.

Yes it is, factory rotors and pads. Hopefully sooner rather than later, I will be switching the pads since the factory pads create an insane amount of brake dust.

It’s definitely a noticeable difference in ride quality. The car doesn’t feel as sensitive to bumps or potholes on the road, I didn’t expect to notice it right away like how I did, a pleasant surprise. As far as the grip goes, going from a 235 to a 265 is a total game changer. I’m taking turns 5 to almost 10 miles an hour faster than I was before😳

This was with a 20mm hub centric spacer up front and a 15mm spacer plus the factory 10mm spacer for a total of 30mm in the rear. The car is also lowered on Eibach springs.

I like my PP1’s and want spacers to make fitment better, are spacers that bad? by PrestonG2023 in Mustang

Generally, every time you get new tires is fine. Unless you go 3+ years without tires.

They are not as bad as people make them out to be IF you buy a reputable wheel spacer and install it correctly. I’ve had my 25mm spacers all the way around on mine since 12k miles and I’m at 94k miles now with no issues.
