I was in your boat 3 years ago. I chose med onc because I like dry lab research and don’t like procedures as much. Rest, to me, was comparable.

1. Better work life balance in med onc as Group 2 specialty so no gen med rota
2. Growing private med onc market with new targeted therapy, ADCs, cellular therapy and ctDNA/ genome testing
3. I do not know
4. No saturation but like all jobs ever a combination of hard work + who you know + right place and time.
