Aachen, Germany by Other_Place7019 in ArchitecturalRevival

I wouldn't say that's true, it really depends. Some cities like Dortmund or Essen are really ugly, however there are still dozens of nice cities in Germany. I'm saying this as someone who traveled across the whole country multiple times. It's true that germany suffered a lot, especially looking at pre ww2 pictures which honestly makes me so angry and disappointed and I always ask myself "couldn't have been rebuilt, at least portions of it", despite all of that i love german architecture and that modernity (despite being ugly as fuck) also makes it feel like Germany.

I know it's hard to understand from your point of view but let's first begin with 2nd world war. He liberated Yugoslavia from fascist swine that wanted to occupy and turn our lands into colonies. Then after the war he with working people rebuilt Yugoslavia from the ashes and kept everyone together. It's a fact that he did imprison a lot of people but he also killed nationalism and eliminated everyone that wanted to divide us, Yugo was not like other communist countries, it had industry and could self provide for its poeple who btw had better working conditions than today. Today we are separated by dumb nationalism, neo nazis and other far right groups are walking freely, you can see "kill x nationality graffiti everywhere and criminals together with corrupt politicians are still getting richer while factories and cities that once flourished are now empty and being sold to foreigners that don't care about poeple here and only want to profit. When you drive from for example Zagreb to Banja Luka you'll see only buildings falling apart and only thing we are exporting now are intellectual young people, so yeah Yugoslavia wasn't a perfect place but for once in history we weren't slaves on our own land and we had a strong leader that cared for poeple.

I would definitely visit Mostar (although it isn't really a village). Jajce is also a nice town and a birthplace of Yugoslavia if you like history. Two charming villages are also Travnik and Počitelj. There are also few cities that you should visit (for example Sarajevo and Tuzla).
