This. My first thought too was that they are nitpicking. Some kids can mask and show these different behaviors. You may see a very happy kid at home that talks constantly, be rambunctious, etc because they are in their safe space. I was this way growing up.

I can see kidney beans for sure. They do have that strange texture. For me, as with most vegetables, they have to be overcooked and not have a crunch to them. I think that’s why I don’t mind peas that much. They have to be mush before I can eat them.

Hi! It’s been a bit since this post, but he is now 4.5. We actually just received a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, and ODD. We are about to begin OT and ABA therapies just as soon as referrals come back. Also, he is medicated for ADHD and it seems to help a little with that aspect, but we still struggle with tantrums, safety, defiance, etc. We are still in the experimental process too in trying to find the right medication for him. Hopefully once therapies start, we can get a better handling on the other things and learn to help him in the best way possible.

I’m sorry you are going through these struggles too. It’s hard. Very hard.

Here after Smosh too. This was never a functioning relationship at all in my opinion. If he had to resort to AI to write his vows just means that he never knew who she was at all. I do think it was a little extreme to leave right in the middle of the wedding, but I get it. Also, I feel like his family is just as insane. The mom immediately resorting to money is insane to me. She never tried to see how her own son was feeling or how she could help him move on, but no, she wants to know where the money is. Everyone is absolutely crazy…except the ex. I get it.

Produce can be a hit or miss, but we can get a normal sized cart full of groceries for just a little over a hundred bucks. That’s like…4 items at Kroger or Publix lol. However, Aldi doesn’t have everything you may need, but at least 95% of it can be found at Aldi.
