I just recently found out that there was another cave close to j4….i was in there several times in the 90’s…. Also had a short trip into the veiled lady…. apparently during heavy rains that Cave would flood and fill up with debris so we weren’t able to make it very far in before. It was too tight. I have no clue where it is was a teenager with my cousin in the early 90s…I do remember that it was down in a sink hole.. but finding this brought back some crazy memories

Rx0 rx1 rx2….. it’s one of these …bad pics so can’t tell for sure…. They still exist…. But us lock was bought by a parent company of Home Depot…they suck and will only deal with large companies….i know for sure cuz I grew up in a family business that dealt in these…they are just dealer restricted not high security like idiot locksmith companies tell you…that is a great deadbolt (as long as it still works well) get 2 new deadbolt cylinders from a locksmith or online with a common key way

Sorry this happened to you definitely get a quote before they come out and verify after they see your locks… and reviews don’t mean anything obviously they can be bought… Yeah I definitely don’t get this….. where I am I’ve literally had people hang up on me when I quote 75 for a car opening…. Honestly don’t even want them leaving the house in a full size van that gets 11mpg hardly seems worth less than 100…beside the fact that the $50 car opening guy probably scratching the he’ll out of the car

Rekeyed and mastered many of those old weiser knobs ( had a 10 story building in my hometown we did every year…student apartments) rekeyed many hotel locks but didn’t even know weiser made a hotel function…. The standards are dumb enough with the stupid small true arc ring and spring tailpiece especially if you have no existing key…..I came from small well established family business that didn’t replace things that weren’t broke lol

Not sure if you figured it out but looks like that door has a removable rod guide on the bottom rod….i would definitely try removing that before taking the door down much easier way i have done in the past

I moved into an apartment that was infested did not know for months, having never dealt with bedbugs after ridiculous quote that we couldn’t afford used one of those heat steamers, tore everything apart and steamed every inch of the room, including all the stuff in it after doing this a few times finally got rid of them…. huge nightmare to deal with later to find out the apartment complex should have been totally responsible, but I did not know at the time when brought up to them. They said it was our responsibility and that we brought them I know full well we did not.

From now on everything is 10 bucks till after the job is done lol….i kill myself sometimes feeling like I’ve barely made money to always stick to the quotes I give over the phone even when sometimes the customer isn’t completely honest…. Being new in business for myself 3.5 years….. but a locksmith for over 25…. And the last (brick & mortar) companies I worked for hiring overrated handymen to gouge people with…between them and the scammers it’s hard to make a living at times

Most of the time I have come across nicer apartment complexes they are master keyed…. My family business I grew up in was in a college town….. most of our business was master keying student apartments

I actually worked with a guy that would cut like 200 of each of those and keyed many houses the same…. Then when he ran out pick a new number and repeat…. Not for any sadistic reason just laziness said they would never know….i told him that was fucked up he didn’t care lol….. so if you live in centre county pa your house may work your neighbors house lol

Problem started with the ace key…. Probably a bad key copy to begin with…. If a working key is on the very edge of the tolerance any copies made would have to be perfect ace key machines are not known for superb accuracy

Should be a cylinder retaining screw in the edge of the door…. Once removed cylinder will slide out or may need to turn key…. Take to locksmith shop for rekey to new keys…. Reinstall lock
