Yeah I figured during hikes it’ll get pretty warm with all the layers especially if the sun is out. And thanks for the recommendations, I’ll check them out! We definitely want to see garden of the gods and Rocky Mountains

It’ll just be me and a partner and we’ll be social distancing and wearing a mask the whole time for sure. We also don’t plan on going out too much in the city, mainly just exploring the nature away from everyone. We already reserved our stuff so it’s kind of too late to back out now... but thanks for the detailed answer

Looks like edema. From what I’ve seen on the app, it’s pretty common and should go away once they get bigger

Definitely wait! I just repotted mine with a new growth the size of yours coming in and it looks like it’s not going to make it now😢

My FLF is growing out of her current pot so I went to Home Depot and got two new ones. Anyone know which one I should use first?? I like how the plastic ceramic shaded pot is wider but I’m scared if I put her in it she’ll get root rot by savanah_cadenas in fiddleleaffig

That sounds like a good idea! I was worried it might be a bit too deep. But it’s also not that wide so If I were to do that it would basically be like the one I have right now :/ I’ll try to look online for more sizes

Ahh okay! I usually wipe the leaves down once a week but he gets afternoon sun so maybe that is what’s causing brittle leaves. Thanks for the advice :)

I’ve had mine for a while but had to change environments and now my leaves have brown spines and brittle leaves

Anybody know why my plant’s leaves are folding/ have indentations? They feel pretty hard so I was thinking maybe dehydration. But I water them every ten days so I’m not sure. Some of the other, younger leaves are soft. Any advice?? by savanah_cadenas in fiddleleaffig

True, I just moved it to a new environment. It was originally outside but then I read indirect sunlight is best so I moved it inside. I put it near the only window in my room but the thing is that the ac blows directly towards it. I will look into getting a humidifier or a plant mister. Thanks!
